The Herb Garden Pizzeria, outdoor dining at The Trawool Estate! Our waitress whilst lovely, needed some education regarding how to pour the water and wine. She even said herself that she felt awkward doing it, which almost made us feel uncomfortable too. Other than that we had a lovely time, the food and wine were delicious.

We had to wait over an hour for our food even though it wasn't busy. When the food came out it was cold and didn't live up to expectations given the price.

Nice place and service was ok and most food was nice but the pasta dish was overcooked and not nice and the 3 prawns on top were dry and reheated- I couldn’t eat it like that and was not asked if I wanted to order anything else- the water still charged full price and said they would pass on feedback to the chef - also said they were sourcing noodles- not sure what that meant as pasta is pasta and just needs to be cooked right for that price range - we paid the bill without asking for any discount but left disappointed and will not be back :(

Travelled 90 minutes to Trawool Estate to celebrate a birthday with family on a Saturday night and we wish we hadn’t. •Our drinks were sitting on the bar for a long time before being brought to our table- we even got up and collected some ourselves and were told that they’d lost the docket and so didn’t know which table they belonged to. •Waitress shouted at the bar man. •Plates weren’t cleared in a timely manner. •After an hour and a half of being seated, we asked where our mains were. The waitress said “I’ll find out”, turned her back abruptly and walked off. There was no follow up about where our meals were. •Cutlery wasn’t reset after our entrees so we needed to ask for more once our mains eventually came out. •Some meals were cold. •The waitresses were notably tense and avoided our table after we asked about our meals. For a venue that we expected to have a high quality dining experience, we were extremely disappointed and frustrated. We were offered a round of drinks for the wait however the negatives of our experience outweigh this gesture. I’m supportive of young and inexperienced staff however it was evident that more training is required for these kids to manage a restaurant and provide the level of customer service that people expect when booking a restaurant such as this one.

Lovely visit here with very kind and helpful staff. They were very toddler friendly too which is always a massive bonus, great to see a mocktail list too!
