So delicious !!!
Food was excellent! Adding spinach to the shrimp & grits provided texture. Will defintetly return!
Service was excellent. We had a lovely birthday meal. Definitely recommend.
We enjoyed the restaurant and the food very much with our little girl. It was the perfect evening! Thank you
Great potential with ambiance and menu options, but fell very short for the prices and meals were way too salty unfortunately.
This restaurant has consistently great food but notoriously bad service. Last night was better.
Caters more towards large parties. Wife and I went there and two parties of 5+ were seated after us but helped before us.
The food came out quickly, beautiful presentation, but the taste was bland. The drinks however, were top notch!
Once I arrived I realized I'd been here before. I was estatic!! I've thought of this place so many times but couldn't remember the name or where it was. The food, drinks, spacing.. all of it was great! The service was superior. It would have been super awesome if the outside patio was open. I can't wait to go back in the summer but I will surely be back long before then.
The atmosphere is very impressive. The service was good and they were very professional and friendly.
Looks nice in the summer time. The food was good! The ambience inside is just okay. The service was excellent!
We went for a late, light dinner and it was really well done! My date had French Onion Soup - an afficianado - and it was done perfectly - not too salty as some are elsewhere & a great crunch to the cheese on top! We split a Caesar Salad with the nicest crunchy romaine, crispy parmesan croutons and light dressing for the best taste!
I have shrimp cocktail - BIG shrimp, homemade cocktail sauce and herbs to enhance the taste!
Great wine, great waitress and nice warm fireplace to sit next to on a very cold night!
Thanks, Turn House!
A friend and I went to brunch for my birthday. Wait staff is always great, top notch. I decided this time to try the steak and eggs. I asked first time for medium well done. It came back seared on the outside and red, red, red on the inside. Asked to send it back and cook more. Just wanted a little pink. I knew from looking at the plate it came on that it still wasn't cooked right (5 minutes from the time I asked to have it cooked more to when it came back to me). There was blood red running on the plate. I cut into a piece to humor the cook, but it was still red, raw meat inside. I realize the argument that chefs don't like cooking well done or anything close to it. But I cannot eat raw, red meat. It has to be cooked. So the chef won and I lost. Didn't try to eat anymore. It smelled like it would have been good, but I think the kitchen cook staff needs to remember, the customer really does know what they want. I'll compromise, even to go to pink. I think this just went into the kitchen and sat there and then was sent back to me. Bad form you guys.
The food is fairly good, but not gourmet and not as outstanding as the prices and the advertising would lead you to believe. The service was excellent.
Menu is not expansive - but the choices are good; Short Ribs - oysters - burger were all delicious
The food is great! I think I'd prefer to sit in one of the rooms without a television.
Hostess sat us next to the fireplace. Great ambience for a low key date night.
Wonderful! So nice to have the heated patio for safe dining outside during the pandemic. Food is excellent!
We were seated next to a couple 3ft away. Server was very slow. We were totally forgotten. My drink came after our appetizers after we asked where it was. Asked for ketchup that never came until i asked for the check. Waitress kept apologizing but never offered to adjust the bill. Horrible experience ruined our anniversary
The Turn House is a nice restaurant and solid as far as food goes however service always seems to be slow. There seemed to be some chaos in the kitchen as well as the runners kept bringing us food that was not ours. Overall the experience was pleasant, food was good, and we all had a very nice time. Be prepared to wait for the servers. In these times, most establishments are short staffed and this must be kept in mind to not get impatient.
I ordered a burger which was prepared as requested. Also had requested fries well done. The fries came limp and lukewarm. Perhaps not enough servers as the restaurant filled up?
We were seated after the hostess straightened her menu’s behind the desk & we never saw another person, we left after 25 minutes. The hostess never looked up as we were leaving
Wonderful dinner as usual. We requested by the fire place and had the seat and the whole room to ourselves.Very nice birthday celebration.
The food was great, especially cocktails and appetizers. Service was exceptional after an uneven start marked by confusion over who might be assigned to our table. Our two dishes came out at different temperatures - was one waiting for the other to be done?
The Turn House was more on its game during our last visit and we'll come back once the pandemic is more in the rear-view mirror.
It is my favorite place to eat! I love the ambiance and eating near the golf course! However, I wish the food was more bar-ish for the dinner menu because my mom and I really enjoyed the new Texas Chili Nachos.
There was a big party going on and it spread the servers pretty thin. Not enough to bother us, just an observation. Still had a great experience with amazing food and a beautiful atmosphere.
Excellent oysters !
Where to begin…upon seating one of the servers dropped not one but two sauces on the floor directly behind us. This splashed over my husbands pants and jacket. No response from server. We tried to order Oysters. Not available. So we ordered the crab dip. Crab in the dip was unrecognizable and overall rather tasteless. It came with potato chips and a single piece of toasted bread cut in half??? My order of a Caesar salad resulted in onions on romaine with again an unrecognizable dressing that was not Caesar dressing. The surcharge for adding three scallops was $13. The bill including tip exceeded 140.00 which included wine. Needless to say we will not be re-Turn-ing. Very disappointing.
The cocktails were great. Brussel Sprout appetizer way to much vinegar. For a small menu we were hoping for superb dishes. They were all right, but probably would not come again, unless for cocktails. Tablecloths in dining room would enhance experience also.
Good service and food.
The food was underwhelming. The scallops were cold, the burger was over cooked and the short ribs were dry. And for the price they charge, this should have been better quality food.
Very nice spot, menu is kind of limited but what they do they do well, Drinks were very good, Will definitely be back.
Great experience! Dining room was elegant and quiet.
Nice place in a golf club setting. Nice decor and the drive and parking were great.
Restaurant was very nice, clean and the staff was great! Food was horrible especially for the price. There should be no reason to pay $33 for a skirt steak that was tough and no flavor what so ever. On line it said NY steak, totally appropriate but skirt, absolutely not! Eggs even worse, plate full of cold, hard and just bad. The mimosas were not good either as you can tell (if you know champagne) that they used a very cheap brand which gave me an immediate headache. Biscuits and the blueberry compote was Amazing! This was my second and last time I will come, just not worth it. For a Restaurant like this they really need to do better. Menu is also very limited.
Our server was excellent, but my grilled chicken sandwich was dry.
Great service and atmosphere!
Great restaurant, we’d love to return. Our server was just fine- nothing extraordinary. Great views on the golf course. Food was great, but menu items are over priced. They had a few daily specials which were great, but they weren’t advertised- we had to ask.
One of my favorite spots. I enjoy Tuesday nights for $1 oysters and $5 Prosecco’s. Always a good time and nice ambiance.
