The food was absolutely amazing.
Some friends and I went for Sunday brunch. The service was great, the food, as always, was delicious. It is a little expensive but worth it.
It was a great experience. Met my expectations in every way. Food was excellent. Oysters were delicious.
Fabulous seafood, especially the lobster salad! The servers were very attentive, it was quiet, and the appetizers were perfect. The presentation was well done by the chef and the serving sizes were generous. An excellent value in Old Town Alexandria,
The atmosphere was perfect for quiet, private discussion. The food and service was excellent. We will definitely return.
One of our favorite places! The food, service, and staff are always amazing!
Delicious meal and they made it special for my mother's 85th with a lovely piece of bread pudding. Thanks!!
Meeting old friends for a little better than just a routine brunch....
Owner was so friendly! You have to try Crab cakes as well as shecrab soup! Outstanding!!!
Too loud to be categorized as an intimate setting. Food was great, service was decent. But overall just felt slightly above average,.....had higher expectations.
The Warehouse is outstanding! The lobster cob salad was exceptional and friends also enjoyed shrimp bucatini, smothered catfish and crab pasta salad. Excellent friendly service and it’s quiet so we could talk. Highly recommended!!!
Liked the place. Sat by the front window on a real hot evening and froze due to an air conditioner on steroids. Good was very good, but wish the air conditioner wasn't such a distraction.
Excellent! Great waiter and tge food was great! Perfect night.
First time - was pleasantly surprised. Everything we ordered was tasty and seemed fresh. The sauces were a bit heavy, but you can ask for them on the side. It is a higher end restaurant ($$) but you see people wearing everything from super casual to dressy clothes.
We went for our anniversary and were so happy that they seated us in the window. The food was good, lots of options and good portion sizes for the price. The best part was they gave us a bread pudding on a "happy anniversary" plate. A great end to a nice dinner.
Excellent Restaurant, Good menu which not only reads well but produces good food!
Will patronize this Restaurant anytime I am in DC.
Varied menu. Delicious salads. Nice atmosphere. Live this place!
This is one is one of my go to places when I want something special. Treated a friend from out of town to brunch everything was amazing!
I gave it four stars because there was a wait even with a reservation. But other than that, the service was outstanding and everything we had (drinks, appetizers, entrées and desserts) was excellent!
The Warehouse has a very welcoming atmosphere, good food and a great location on King Street just a few blocks from the Harbor.
I chose The Warehouse for my son's birthday dinner after reading reviews. The atmosphere was very inviting, I felt I could be dressed casual or dressed more formally and be comfortable either way. I made a reservation, arrived at our designated time and was seated immediately. Our server was very accommodating and friendly. Our food arrived in a timely manner. At the end of our meal, the manager (?) stopped by our table to see if we were pleased with our visit, which we were. It was a very nice experience and I plan to visit again.
Great service and amazing food!
She crab soup delicious. Service efficient and effective. Will go again when next in town.
Crab cakes and pecan pie were exceptional.
We were on vacation in Alexandria, VA. The restaurant was recommended by our hotel which is located in Old Town and it was absolutely great. We were greeted by very friendly staff and waiters who gave suggestions and recommendations of what to order. The food was delicious, loved the "she crab soup." It was a party of 7 and we all had a great time. Only thing this was not a restaurant for small children, however we had a 10 year old who was able to enjoy a great meal. We definitely would recommend and would go back next time we travel to that area.
Had been many years since I last dined at the Wharehouse with a group of female friends, so I was anxious to revisit. Ambience was still nice, but food was lacking seasoning and service seemed rather unfriendly, certainly not the service I remember from years ago. Still the menu is interesting and well priced. The kitchen just needs to deliver the flavors described on the menu and service needs to be more welcoming.
Our meal at the Warehouse was delicious! We had the crab cakes, she crab soup and Gorgonzola salad. All were fabulous. Our server Alberto handled all of our requests and needs. We split a chocolate creme brûlée for dessert to conclude our meal on historic King Street in downtown Alexandria.
Great ambience and location. Peter did a superb job behind the bar! Eduardo was an excellent waiter and delivered 101% effort throughout the evening. Great place!
Visiting from Illinois. Best She Crab soup! Outstanding salmon. Intimate atmosphere. Lovely meal
It was our last night in the area and wanted to have a nice date night. The Warehouse looked nice and reviews were mostly good.
The restaurant is nice and the ambiance is also nice. The service was mediocre at best and went down hill from there when I was given a knife that literally had pieces of meat on it from the last use. I was one of the grossest things I have ever seen in an upscale restaurant.
My wife liked her Salmon and sides, but my steak was one of the worst steaks I have ever eaten. It have ZERO flavor and the peppercorn sauce couldn’t even save it. Thank goodness for the salt and pepper on the table.
My wife and I are not the type to complain so we didn’t say anything, but a day after it is upsetting that I spent over $100 for such a bad steak. The only thing that saved the evening was that my wife was very satisfied with her meal.
Took the patriarch out for Father’s Day dinner, and had a great time! We mistakenly made our reservation for 5 instead of 6, and with a fully booked restaurant, the staff smiled and had it handled without a second thought. It was an embarrassing mistake to miscount our party on an evening like Father’s Day where the whole restaurant is packed, but I can’t put into words how comfortably the staff just made it work without even the slightest eye roll. I wouldn’t have been so outwardly pleasant about it! So to the entire restaurant staff- my deepest thanks.
Food was incredible from start (likely the *best* blackened scallops I’ve ever had) to finish (pecan pie & coffee ice cream). Several in our party ordered from the dinner specials, but every plate was a treat. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly (and patient!), and made our table feel like his only focus, and I know he had many others.
I look forward to dining here again and recommending this restaurant to anyone who asks where to have a nice dinner!
Absoulety love this spot. The food is AMAZING and the service is outstanding. Great date night and family brunch.
This was our first time at this restaurant. I brought my husband here for Father’s Day. I enjoyed my food. He ordered crab cakes and thought the portion size was a tad small. Overall experience was good.
I picked this restaurant for Father’s Day. Great atmosphere. We loved the pictures going up the stairs as we tried to identify the people in the pictures. They were able to seat us prior to our appointment as we were early. No arguments here. This spot will get a place in our rotation.
Despite having a reservation others got a table before us, without a reservation.
This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always excellently!
Another good brunch at The Warehouse. Service wasn't quite as good as usual. Had to wait for table though had a reservation. But it was Father's Day.
Great for brunch.
If you love coffee - I do not recommend this place. We went there for Father's Day brunch due to the rave reviews. The food was definitely good and the crab cakes were outstanding BUT I was missing a good cup of coffee. It was like drinking hot water with a splash of coffee for the color. It was SO disappointing. I asked if they would make a new pot of coffee and the server said that the coffee was calibrated to the same amount each time. I guess they skimp on coffee grounds to save money. To the owners / managers - suggest readjusting the calibration on the amount of coffee scoops per brew.
Came here for my birthday dinner with family and we loved it! Great food and comfortable atmosphere.
