The Weeping Willow
Great food and service
Great atmosphere and service! Must visit!
First restaurant meal out since Covid-19 - still the same high quality of food and clear instructions as to changes in policy. First time ever getting a brown envelope whilst eating out! Nice touch.
The right place at the right time to enjoy a relaxed Meal and drink the whole environment is quality and the staff are superb
With the safety measures in place it was well organised and we were informed of what to expect on arrival. There was a reduced menu but the food was very good, just expensive for what you get.
Under the circumstances all efforts to help customers stay safe was well executed.
Only one suggestion and it only a suggestion perhaps staff should be wearing masks or a visor we throughly enjoyed our meal and it was so nice to see Chloe again.
We would certainly visit again.
Excellent country restaurant/pub. Friendly and helpful staff. Food is delicious. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.
We really enjoyed our evening at The Weeping Willow. Food and service were great. Excellent menu and very tasty food and wines. Really nice to be back in a restaurant, especially such an excellent one. We love the open plan kitchen and the decor. Staff had gone to great wfforts to make things as safe as possible in this covid season.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Was a little unsure what this great place would be like with current restircitions but the team didn't disapoint.Food was as good as ever. We'll be back soon!!
Lovely Sunday roast in very pleasant surroundings... only spoiled slightly by children being allowed to run around whilst their parents acted oblivious
A bit over-priced but good in all other aspects. Fabulous building.
Great pub, lovely food and amazing Gin! Would highly recommend.
Very pleasant experience, the place is beautifully appointed and in this case the service and food matched
The staff treated us so kindly and we’re very helpful in explaining the menu and the food was absolutely delicious. We fully intend to dine here again
Amazing restaurant ambience, service a little slow but the level is unquestionable.
Food and drinks always lovely!!
Thanks weeping willow.
Very nice atmosphere and very good food. The service could have been a bit faster, but it did not affect the whole experience much
Nice meal, friendly, attentive service and a lovely atmosphere.
Been twice for afternoon tea now and it really is gorgeous, the decor and ambiance really add to the dining experience, look forward to going back for dinner at some point!
Wonderful weekday lunch. Excellent and special food with nice healthy ingredients. Good value for the quality of food. Quick and friendly service. Pub has cool, quirky decorations and stunning restaurant area. Might be echoing and a bit noisy when full but on a not so busy weekday it was fine. In summer there is a lovely outdoor patio dining area. Thoroughly recommended as a place to take friends or family for a special meal
I was given a afternoon tea voucher and I shared it with my best friend! We had the most delicious tea. The decor is so bright and beautiful views of the gardens
Well worth a visit 💕
Unfortunately the food at our recent visit left a lot to be desired. £16 for fish & chips where the batter was soggy & tasteless, the fish average & the chips unseasoned. Our local fish & chip shop produces a better meal for a 1/3 of the cost. The waitress kindly gave us 50% off due to the poor cooking, but overall, a pretty average meal where full cost would have been pricey for essentially fish & chips & a sandwich... Shame, the food quality seems to have been slowly diminishing over the past year as we have had a couple of disappointing meals here over the past year, having previously been extremely impressed. There seems to be less choice on the menu now & the quality of the meals no where near the standard when the pub 1st re-opened. Will be a while before we try again.
Very disappointed - poor service extremely slow - table booked at 7.45 got starter at 8.30 and main course 9pm. Food not good value at all very small plate and very expensive and was also luke warm. I had to buy french fries to bulk it out. Red wine £9.40 for large glass so over the top prices.
Will not go back.
Excellent food served in a modern setting.
The ambiance of the Weeping Willow is first class.
Been a few times at the weeping willow and it was perfect the food was always outstanding same with the service. But this time we were very disappointed the food wasnt to its standard and was a bit disappointed with the menu wasnt much to choose from the kids menu was poor aswell the kids burger was a adult size so only a quarter was eaten as it was to much for a child plus the bun was burnt . Want to return as we do like it normally bit pricey but we only go on special occasions and this time was and we were disappointed. 😒
Another excellent meal. Flavours are always so good... It’s one of our go to restaurants!
My third visit to The Weeping Willow since we moved to the village. Food is always excellent, staff friendly and polite. This time I pre-booked Afternoon Tea for my friend and I which was another lovely experience, there was plenty of food to work our way through and we spent most of the afternoon there without being hurried. We will definitely both be back.
Brilliant food enjoyed in a great atmosphere with excellent service. Hope to return soon.
Great food and service, highly recommended the pub
Had a lovely Sunday lunch with friends at one of my favourite local spots! We had Roast Chicken & Butternut Squash roast respectively. Both were delicious! The service was great as always. Highly recommend whatever the occasion!
Will be back
Perhaps the menu could do with changing on a seasonal basis
I had been recommended the Weeping Willow by my daughter, as it was my husband and I wedding anniversary we thought we would give it try. The ambiance is excellent, the service was excellent. I had the chicken terrine for starter and the seafood paella for main, very good for both dishes, I would definitely recommend to family and friends and we would return 👍
A lovely dining space with friendly staff and good food.
Faultless Sunday Lunch!
Food was fantastic.
Service was fantastic.
Venue was fantastic.
Atmosphere was fantastic.
We will be back for sure.
Really nice ambience and surroundings, service was good. The food looked lovely but the flavour was lacking. So not worth the money to be honest. However I would definitely go back!
Really good tasty food and efficient prompt service.
Food was yummy, the bread starter was just mouth watering. Simple but so delicious. We went on a very busy Saturday afternoon, so there was a little bit of a wait for items and we had to ask for glasses and drinks, however the ladies were very accommodating. Location and value for money was great. I will certainly be going back again.
Me and my husband came here for a meal and it was lovely, I love how the place is laid out gives a warm cosy feel. The food was amazing and the staff were so friendly. I would definitely recommend to a friend and will be coming back x
Excellent food, excellent service. Happy staff. It was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish
Excellent food and excellent service. Would definitely go again. Took up the offer of 50% off my main for NHS employees and would like to thank the Chestnut Group for their generosity.
very good roast dinner - 1 piece of beef was a bit mean for the price though
