The food was delicious as always, but the restaurant was very crowded. One could barely walk to see the selections. We were not able to see the salads because of the crowds. Everyone being let in at 12 is not working. It used to be staggered and that worked much better.

It was Mother’s Day so it was a packed house. The atmosphere and decor was fantastic. The manager and server and all of the staff were professional, accommodating, knowledgeable, and quite simply, really good! The food had some highlights (the shrimp for the shrimp and grits -though the table was set backwards for it, the flank steak, the salad bar) but was generally okay. The tiramisu was fantastic.
The view and the rotating dining room though… you can’t beat that. I’d recommend going once if you can find them open and get seats. I will definitely try again on a less-popular day.

This was an excellent choice for a pre-Mother's Day celebration. The food was great. I especially enjoyed the attitude, professionalism, and attentiveness of the staff from the time we checked in at the downstairs lobby to the wait staff, assistant manager, and checking out at the elevator. Kudos to everyone involved. My guests, especially my friend's 15-year-old granddaughter was really impressed as this was her first time at this venue.

Our party of five had a Wonderful Wonderful time!
What a great Valentine present from the University of South Carolina!
Karan, and all the staff were professional and yet warm and inviting.
Dinner was delicious from appetizer to dessert , the 360 degrees view was incredible and the "Honors" students in the lobby were a joy to meet.
Do hope for a repeat next year.

Made reservations through Open Table. Even confirmed by text (as per screenshot). Drove an hour to the restaurant... to be told it was closed... and had been closed for months. Someone, either at Top of Carolina or Open Table dropped the ball. There goes two hours of our lives we'll never get back.
