Torrence and Knox is a bar and restaurant located in Cornelius, NC. Owners Andrew and Danielle Sheridan are passionate about offering great food and drinks in a relaxed, casual atmosphere where customers are invited to kick back, relax and hang out with friends or watch live sporting events on one of our dozen televisions. Our menu features signature dishes like our Korean BBQ wings, classic cheeseburgers, and Brooklyn Chicken and Prime Rib Sandwiches. We also have a curated wine menu and extensive list of draft and bottled beers.

I made a reservation for 6 at 730p. All in the party were on time and seated. We were told the kitchen was slow, which I assume meant we would be waiting a while for food. However, after about 10 minutes, the hostess came in to check if we were OK, keep in mind we only had menus at this point, not water or an update letting us know who would be waiting on us. After another 15 minutes past, still no service or water, we decided to leave and go elsewhere. On our way out, the same hostess who now recognizes our party, says wait were about to bring some water. Huh? Our party sat with no service for 30 mins. Im not sure who is managing this restaurant but you won't be in business for long. Im not sure if you are screening which patrons to serve or your service is just that bad.

We had a nice quiet table in one of the smaller dining spaces as requested. But it also kept our servers from paying attention to us. Drinks were often empty and we had to flag down our servers to get refills. The food was fantastic and the restaurant offers a great variety of dishes. Truly something for everyone.

I think it could be good someday. But they have a lot of work to do the food offerings have to be revisited. The shrimp Poboy should be made with jumbo shrimp not bake shrimp. As an example, the duck wontons, I didn’t see any duck in the wontons. They were more like pierogies. The cheeseburger sliders were overcooked. French fries was a combination of cooked fries and overcooked fries.

Lauren our server was friendly and knowledgeable. She made our experience perfect. The interior had a great vibe, live music at the weekend and a good menus to cover most choices. Food and drinks were served efficiently by very friendly staff. We highly recommend and will be going back.

The wait staff is not at all trained on the menu. Every question we asked, stumped her and she had to go ask. The noise level is really high- extremely difficult to talk and enjoy conversation. It’s a new restaurant - it needs a lot of attention on decor. Very sparse.

Overall enjoyable experience and the food was very good. Chicken sandwich was amazing and my husband also enjoyed the Philly steak sandwich. The Prosecco pour was one of the smallest I have ever received and was way overpriced at $11 a glass. Just serve the La Marca split to the table so your customers aren’t disappointed. We will most likely come back again.

Great interior look. Fabulous huge bar. Great friendly service. Specials were delicious, looking forward to other items on the menu.
