Toscanova - Century City
Do Not Go on a Saturday night! This was the noisiest restaurant we've ever been to. Actually had to change tables. The staff is running around trying their best - but it's like being in a bee hive. The food was OK (average), the service was very good. Take a shot at it - but take your chances.
Two of 5 main dishes overcooked significantly.
The waiter was friendly, but my entree came out 20 minutes after my wife’s entree.
The papradelle was delicious, but everything else was bland. The meatballs: bland and not delicious. Calamari bland and not delicious. Etc. etc.
The waiter was very nice but he was busy and in a rush. The fried calamari was bland and so was the sauce. I had to send back the pollo milanese because it was dry as shoe leather and completely tasteless. They replaced it with the seabass special which was just as bad and full of bones. The salmon was decent but nothing to remember. The only reason this place stays busy is because of the location.
The service good, but very slow. The food was good, but not extraordinary, although some the dining party raves about the pizza.
It was nice and calm
Was frustrated with the amount of dogs outside and the one dog owner who didn't care where his dog was laying...which was in the middle of the walkway. The waitress was wonderful and the service good. So many restaurants provide a 'free' dessert for the celebration...this one doesn't. Seems strange.
Thanksgiving, less excellent than usual, flavors less bright
We dined in the outdoor section which was very well appointed and had lots of heaters. The food was excellent. Tagliatelle with bolognese was superb, whole
Ran into was tasty and salad was wonderful. Service exceptionally friendly and attentive..
I always enjoy dining here. Everything is always consistent and excellent.
Toscanova is consistently good Italian food, and being an Italian American, I am not easily swayed.
It took more than an hour for the food to come out.
Perfectly delicious food! Would come back in a heartbeat.
great all-around experience and ideal for both business and personal meals
One of our favorite places to eat. Always excellent.
The decor and energy were great. The service, when available, was very good. But then disappeared after the food was delivered, which is somewhat common but I found it odd since the restaurant had significantly died down.
The food was a huge disappointment. The only two items worth ordering were the buffalo mozzarella and the pizza. The 4 other dishes ordered were underwhelming and not even worth mentioning the titles.
We will not be going again.
I've reviewed Toscanova before. In pandemic times, it's worth additionally noting there is lots of outside space, and my favorite area, outside along the side of the restaurant, is secluded and quiet - and really a delightful space for a quiet visit.
Most lunches at Toscanova during the week are likely business lunches, but yesterday I took my daughter to lunch there, and our visit over lunch could not have been in a better space.
My favorite entrée, the salmon on the menu, was a delight as always.
Dissatisfied with my experience at this restaurant. The food was bland, my friend ended up having to change his order because it was inedible. I usually don’t like to write negative reviews but for the price you are better visiting a different restaurant.
Enjoyed coming here for the first time. Our server was great and the food was very good.
2 for lunch - seated promptly. We did have to ask for a waitperson- to place our order for drinks and again for food… the buratta w/ peppers and tomatoes was excellent as was the fusilli w/ prosciutto in vodka sauce… the Aperol spritzers were not outstanding.
Good food, high prices like everywhere these days. A good lunch option.
We went there for a birthday dinner and it was excellent. Outstanding food, service and ambiance. They even went above and beyond to be certain that our table was positioned safely so my elderly mother was as safe as possible. Highly recommend!
Love this restaurant its the neighborhood gem. Lately they have increased their
Not a particularly charming dining room. But the food was great.
It was my first time and the service was amazing. Our waitress was named Micaela and she made our experience worthwhile. She was so friendly and attentive. We also loved the food, it was amazing and the desert was to die for. I definitely recommended anyone to come here and try it out.
Great service and food is delicious!
Very pleasant and accommodating wait staff but noise level (indoors) was fairly high in spite of a relatively uncrowded environment and the food quality was just okay. Caesar salad plain tasting and uninteresting. Fried calamari excellent. Pumpkin tortellini mediocre and very expensive ($40). Wines okay but a bit pricey for quality. Overall nice experience but not worth going back to.
Mediocre cuisine that feels like it was sent by time machine from 1993.
Solid Italian food in a pleasant atmosphere, accommodating waiters, receptive management.
Most restaurants in Los Angeles still have a problem with giving good service. The service was amazing here. Can’t recommend it highly enough
The Seafood Salad had a good amount of seafood. I would recommend it. The service was good once you got someone to acknowledge your existence.
Great food! Great service!
Food was delicious. Our server was excellent We will definitely go back.
Wonderful server outside on the patio, generous food portions, and a lovely, welcoming ambiance 🇮🇹❤️😎
I love this restaurant! It's a great place to go for lunch or dinner in Century City! Great service, great food, excellent atmosphere! Always consistently perfect!
amazing food great service. clean and great coctails
Lots of people, no distance between people (less than before COVID), poor service, poor quality food.
Wonderful Italian restaurant, great service. One of the best in Los Angeles area.
Always a reliable place for lunch or dinner, excellent patio, and well-priced for the value.
Everything was great except we felt a bit rushed. The food came so quickly that it made me a bit suspicious. It was tasty though.
