Famous Fried Green Tomatoes

Eight of eight satisfied diners. Southern Cobb with fried chicken was the most popular choice with our group, followed by the avocado chicken sandwich.
The food was amazing and I will definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends & family.
Love the food here- always excellent! Ate outside which was ok given the pandemic....
The Sever was friendly and patient. It is a team environment. The team members chip in seamlessly. I enjoyed my time and the ambiance of the establishment. The coffee and mimosas were flowing and brunch options were bar none.
Went for the $2.50 smash burger special, burgers were raw, they'd probably been seared for 30 seconds, even the waiter was in shock when we showed him. Burgers were poorly assembled, some didn't have pickles, and others didn't have cheese even though we ordered standard ones.
Plates were dirty, eewww
The pecan pie was super sweet, If that's your thing you might like it.
Overall the experience was pretty subpar and a waste or time and money.
Great menu and variety to satisfy everyone. The staff is so welcoming.
Delicious food, super helpful & friendly server who went out of her way to accommodate an unusual request.
I go to Tupelo Honey often. It’s a nice restaurant and a quick walk from my office. The service is ALWAYS great; wonderful wait staff who are friendly and do everything to make you happy. The food tends to be hit and miss. Today, my guest truly enjoyed his cheeseburger and fried okra, said it was delicious. I had the southern Cobb salad with salmon, and it was just OK. It was an average salad I could get at a chain restaurant, really nothing spectacular. In the past, I have had brunch here that was fantastic, fish that was overcooked, chicken that was too dry, delicious collard greens, fabulous mixed drinks. Like I said, hit and miss. I will still go to Tupelo Honey because, as I said, nice place and a quick walk from the office. Menu is varied enough to to have something on it for everyone.
Food was very good. More vegan menu items or at least be able to more easily modify veggie dishes into vegan would be nice. Service was excellent (Jessyca was our server)!
I really enjoyed their food and ambience. I highly recommend their Mac and cheese, and fried okra! For cocktails, I LOVED their eternal spring so much I ordered it twice. I had their speciality chicken and it was also good. As someone who doesn’t like sweet stuff, their honey dust seasoning was alright but I would like to try their spicy version next!
Service started out really good, really like when you feel a server is honest about food and drink suggestions/preferences. Then petered out, perhaps a bit understaffed and bad timing. Apps were really good, then barely warm soup and side of sprouts with no taste and cob salad lacking something. Asked for soup to be warmed, seated outside cold fall night, server said something about microwave and not being able to bring back to the table. Customers don't care about that, just want hot food. She definitely seemed annoyed.
Everything we ordered was delicious! The spacing of the tables put us at ease . Will definitely be coming back
Happy hour is a great deal
This was the perfect place to go to get out after not being in a restaurant for months. The food was great, staff was kind and attentive and it was fun sitting outside! I already want to go back for some fried pickles!
Eat there every Sunday for brunch! Gotta love them biscuits and honey!!
This place was lovely! Our service was great and food/drinks were great too!
Great service and food.
Danielle was Amazing! Came in late but was able to accommodate us with a table!!
Everything was simply amazing! I have been wanting to visit Tupelo Honey for months! The food was delicious and the cocktails were delicious as well!! I’m definitely going back!!
Good food, especially the brunch menu. The expansive bar selection is perfect for a group outing.
Excellent!! I don’t think my experience could be any better. Loved every thing from customer service to the outstanding food. This was my first time and i will definitely be back soon. The banana pudding is the best around!
Great food. Great speedy service. Definitely Recommend.
Great brunch. We sat outside on the patio under the umbrella, which was perfect. Will definitely be back!
Disappointed the full menu wasn’t back yet, but overall really good experience.
Our server Liz was great. We were there at 10am. Our food was cold when it arrived. Bacon was hard. Pancakes cold. Butter not melted. Eggs were cold but cooked to the way my husband likes them. Eggs was very salty. Potato crackin was salty and cold not even warm. The potatoes were hard like they were prepared the day before. The food did not seem freshly prepared. I was very disappointed in the food.
This is place is excellent for any type of date or a ladies night! If your looking for something savory and sweet the sweet pancakes are delicious but to top it of it has chicken and bacon on the top of the pancakes!
Service was great. Friendly and attentive. Food was fine. Nothing remarkable. Sat outside which was nice on a nice day
Patio seating was nice. Decent social distancing. And as always, the food was amazing.
We used to really enjoy our experiences at Tupelo however, things have changed since the pandemic. We fully understand the impact the current situation has had regarding supply chain, cleaning, etc. That said, some things I don't believe should have changed. For example, Tupelo "honey" should not have stopped providing honey (unless requested). This was a simple service that enhanced the dining experience. That's just one example of changes that have been implemented that are not value added.
Our food was given to us cold and our server never came back to our table.
The Shoo Mercy was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.
Sweet Potato Pancakes, Fried Chicken, Bacon, and Eggs.
My wife was impressed by the taste of the food and felt safe dining outside.
You should make a reservation and be prepared to give your waiter/waitress a 20% tip because after you eat you are going to feel guilty.
Service was extremely slow....makes it tough to leave the 20% tip.
COVID related review - lots of outdoor seating and the tables are adequately spaced. Payment can be truly contactless - on your phone so you don't have to even touch the "contactless credit card machines."
Service wasn't bad. Our server mentioned they were short staffed so they were pulling double duty as the bartender and server. Drinks were amazing. Food was only okay. We expected better quality and more flavor based on reviews and what others have told us. Our party got some entrees and some brunch items. Two items of note. One brunch plate was the southern shakshouka. It only resembled shakshouka in concept. The eggs were over poached and it was more a bowl of grits than anything else. No traditional (or even southern) spices and the tomato sauce was barely developed. The other thing is the fried chicken. Even though they're known for it, it's only mediocre. Well cooked and stays moist, but nothing unique about it to make the chicken standout. Nothing we ate was good enough to make us want to go back for a second try.
Food was good, especially my sweet potato pancakes, loved. The fried boneless chicken was moist. Nice brunch spot.
It was my birthday brunch. I had to eat after my guest because my food came out wrong. Once it actually arrived, I wasn’t hungry and everyone else was pretty much done eating.
Really amazing food. Servers are nice. Drinks amazing. Great location and ambience.
I really enjoyed the brunch. Lots of options. The cocktails wetter good too. my favorite thing was the biscuits with the blueberry jam and the peach sangria.
Tupelo seemed like it had a good grasp of COVID-19 modifications. I never felt unsafe, but I definitely would continue to sit on their patio rather than indoors. The tables looked like they were adequately spaced, but I wouldn't want to chance it. Really enjoyed my food-- pimento dip and the avocado eggs benedict. I especially loved the pineapple mimosa.
Great chill vibe restaurant. Service was good considering they were short staff that day. Waitress did well to be working by herself. They had great management that helped out.
