   Tried the Nachos this time, which were essentially globs of cold cheese on what felt like bag tortilla chips. Half of our meals were a little cold and looked as though they’d been sitting out a while. Not our best experience this time -

   Table was not ready at our reserved time. The manager apologized and told us she would comp some appetizers, so we ordered some. Apparently, our server was not aware since he charged us for everything and the person paying the bill did not catch it until the bill was already paid.

    Was hoping for less of a chain style, open noisey enviornment, the waffles were not the least bit warm much less crunchy and very small portion of milk gravy. Having said that, the syrup was great, all ounce and a half.

    They were out of dark meat chicken, French fries, and waffles.. not many other options other than appetizers to order. Took 30 minutes to get our drink order. There was not one person sitting at the bar. The server knew we were rushed and decided to complain about her long day she’s had and proceed with charging our card on the wrong tab. It took a very long time, the food was average, and the service was just ok.

    Our table was late so our hostess gave us a free App. We chose the Fried Green Tomatoes App which was delicious. My main course was the Pork Chop and it was well prepared and tasty. Cocktails were so-so. Service was a bit rushed but very friendly.

    My wife and I are out for Valentine's day post-date. The service was busy with minimal interaction. The food was fair at best- chicken and waffles: how do you mess that up? The menu stated spicy but none to be tasted. Really disappointed.

    Other than the fire alarm, it was absolutely amazing. Our waitress was phenomenal. The food definitely wasn’t authentic southern but it was still really delicious. We will definitely be back!

    We had to find a quick meal after getting off a plane and saw this place with great reviews. I am adding my two cents worth saying this was a great find in Boise! I’ll be coming back again soon! The food was great and service matched it !

    This is a fun twist on traditional southern comfort food. Delicious! Sweet server, excellent flavors and a fun atmosphere. If I had anything negative to add it’s that it was a bit loud and the location downtown was tough for parking on a busy Saturday night (though certainly not their fault!). It’s a place we will definitely return to!

    Food has consistently gone downhill over the last couple years. We’re last minute eaters and I keep seeing open tables here so we keep trying to give it another go because the vibe is nice but the food just ISN’T GOOD. Someone who works there that we complained to said she’s embarrassed by a lot of the dishes. Most notably they went from fresh green beans to canned. HOW?! How is this vibe of a downtown spot serving veggies out of a can? We gave it our last shot. Open tables ON WEEKENDS at the last minute is all the sign we ever needed and we should have gone to the Olive Garden - a 3 star restaurant with better food quality and taste. I never write reviews but please spare yourself - the smothered chicken is covered in thick sludge as we were told it’s likely “old gravy reheated” and I’ve had repetitive flashbacks accompanied by dry heaves since we left. It’s really hard to mess up gravy on chicken …. But I can promise you they have done that and done it with full success.

    Our server was wonderful. And all the food was great. My only complaint (which wasn’t a huge deal) is that the chips that came with our pimento cheese were like the bottom of the bag, really small pieces and not nearly enough to eat all the cheese. Our cocktails were great. The dessert was alright but not anything I’d ever order again. Overall it was a good experience.

    This was my 4th or 5th time there. It was on New Years Eve. It was my first during the winter so we were seated inside. They were very friendly upon arrival. I specifically asked to be seated at a low table as bar height and the like are super uncomfortable for a petite patron of 5'2". My legs end up dangling and can never touch the foot rests unless I scoot forward to the edge of the seat then my back is unsupported by the back rest.. Very uncomfortable and so many restaurants have this trend.. Anyway, they were able to oblige. Food was good, portions are not huge but not too small. The drinks were good but pretty slow in delivery for some reason. The restaurant was not overwhelmingly busy so I am not sure why they were slow. We both ordered a salad which was specified to be brought before the entree. The salad was delivered and then a mere 5 minutes the entree was brougt to the table, which then had to sit for about 10 min cooling while we ate our salad. Even the waiter was like.. "oh that was fast" and his expression showed concern that it was too fast. Which it sorta was.. Other than that a good visit. I would like to see them expand the menu a bit more as it seems to be the same choices and my visits have been over about a 12 month span. It would be lovely for more NOLA, and spicier choices.. grilled oysters.. etc. The waiter was very attentive and would check on us when we weren't just putting a bite into our mouth or chewing.
