Locally owned upscale-casual restaurant and bar featuring fresh classic American cuisine, including steaks, seafood, specialty salads and sandwiches. Located in the Westlake shopping center at 119th St. and Maple.

Longtime restaurateur, Bryce Kuhn, brings over 14 years of experience to Twelve Restaurant & Bar. Bryce's experience includes 8 years of management with Houston's in Kansas City, Denver, and Los Angeles. Bryce returned to his hometown of Wichita, KS to open and manage the Bonefish Grill. He later opened and served as General Manager of the Newport Grill. Most recently, he was General Manager of the Lakeside Club. Opening Twelve fulfills Bryce's dream to open and operate a neighborhood restaurant serving his hometown friends and families.

The Twelve menu includes several of Bryce's personal favorite dishes including smoked salmon, sweet corn risotto, spinach-artichoke dip, hand-cut steaks, ribs, and fresh seafood.

We had a table of four on Thursday night, and the service was extremely disappointing. One person received their food, while the other three of us didn’t get ours until about 30 minutes later. By that point, the experience was frustrating, and we were over it. To make matters worse, they gave us a $10 gift card for the inconvenience, but we weren’t even able to apply it to our bill that night. The entire experience was disappointing, and the way the situation was handled didn’t make up for the long wait. We expected better service and a much better dining experience.

The BBQ nachos were wonderful and tasty. Unfortunately, myself and my guest shared the carbonara special. It was extremely salty (and we like salt) so bad it seemed like someone wrongly measured. We sent it back (which we never do as we’ve worked in serving before) and it came back just as awful and not edible. Ultimately we paid almost $30 for a dish we didn’t eat and couldn’t even choke down. The $8 fee to split is kind of silly when the food was so terrible.

We went to the Twelve brunch on Sunday and it was delicious. Our waitress was excellent and very attentive. The variety of lunch and breakfast items was outstanding. Being able to order eggs benedict, French toast, and pancakes and have them brought to the table was an added bonus. The cranberry mimosa was wonderful as well. It may seem a bit pricey, but it is well worth the money.

Very mid flavors. Shrimp was overcooked, flavors werent their. Loaded potato was barely loaded. Texture of mash good, but again, flavor was lacking. Way too expensive for a mediocre meal.

Was very pleased with the restaurant, great Sunday buffet, wide selection, prepared well. Wait staff is excellent!! Plan to make a reservation for evening meal soon, except a pleasant outing.

We were very pleased with our visit to the 12, food was excellent, the wait staff was superb, attentive and always kept the water and tea glasses full. Used plates were policed up and clean china replaced as required. All in all great visit and value.
