I booked the a table for two here because it was the place my wife and I met almost 9 years ago. We were left waiting to be seated until a staff member who appeared to be drinking and celebrating with colleges directed us to another young staff member to seat us. The sign by the door said "Table Service" so we politely waited for the staff to come and collect our order in vein. When I got sick of waiting I went up to the bar, ordered the drinks and asked about table service. The young guy behind the till had no idea what I was talking about and asked another you mullet if that was something they did. He replied "oh yeah, I guess we can do that".. Our entre sat waiting on the servery until after the mains were ready. There were heavily intoxicated patrons in there at 6pm. Garbage and food scraps being brought out through front of house past our table while we were eating. A staff party in the corner with people running in and out of the kitchen. It felt like the whole place was being run by kids when the adults weren't looking. Over all terrible experience and a shame how the place has turned out.

Fantastic place to eat. Service was fantastic & the good was beautiful. Highly recommend. Timber floors make it a bit noisy but not too bad.

Food was very slow coming. One entree WITH the main meals. And the other entree arrived once we’d finished eating. Food was overcooked and dry.

The bar and wait service were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately my medium steak was very well done so I requested another. Disappointingly the replacement steak was no better! My wife and son ordered a roast Catalan chicken dish which sounded enticing. The chicken was clearly not roasted because it's very white coloured suggested it had simply been 'poached' with a dressing poured on top in an attempt to hide this. The accompanying rice had a curry flavour too. I passed on my feedback and disappointment to one of the bar staff who took it on board and took the cost of the steak meal off the bill which I appreciate. However the kitchen is letting the venue down as evidenced by the low numbers in the restaurant on a Saturday night. There is a new place opened just down the road at Jamieson / Macquarie so I hope this feedback and the increased competition will have a positive outcome. Yours truly - Mark Rossiter
