@winsonbrooklyn ‘s Scallion Pancake Bacon Egg & Cheese practically broke the internet and I can report back - for good reason. Win Son Bakery is a Taiwanese-American bakery, cafe, and restaurant located in Williamsburg NY. They’re most well known for their BEC Scallion Pancake, Fan Tuan, and Mochi Donut. My boyfriend and I ended up trying the Pork Fan Tuan and BEC Scallion Pancake and the BEC is genuinely one of his favorites breakfast sandwiches EVER (trust me on this, he is a hard critic). We ended up visiting their pop-up location in Manhattan at @vallatanyc in Union Square which will be open through December! 📍win son pop up @vallatanyc i was so excited to find out that @winsonbakery has been doing a summer pop up in manhattan for the summer (lasts until september)! i’ve heard so much about @winsonbrooklyn but haven’t had to chance to go to brooklyn, so this was definitely an opportunity that couldn’t go to waste. they have select items on their menu, and i wanted to try all of them! will definitely need to check out the brooklyn location soon to try their entire menu. featured foods: 🍙fan tuan: i love these so much they’re such a classic taiwanese breakfast item that can have a variety of ingredients in the filling; this one had the fried you tiao along with pork floss and egg which is pretty classic 🍞custard toast: the milk bread was so soft and really soaked up the custard 🥪jiu cai pancake: my favorite item that we ordered; they really stuffed the scallion pancake and it was so flavorful; the sauce definitely paired well with it by adding some acidity 🍩millet mochi donut: the texture was insane i loved how chewy it was and it was the perfect sweetness with the ginger flavor; popular for a reason ☕️black sesame latte: black sesame flavor was pretty strong; the coffee itself was a little sour though

Win Son bakery is now popping up in Manhattan @vallatanyc on 19th street from 9am-2pm wed- sun! Got the scallion pancake egg and cheese sandwich and the mochi millet donut which blew my mind 🤩 already excited to go back and to try other Taiwanese favorites like the fan tuan 🫡 @winsonbrooklyn
