Via 313 Pizza is proud to serve genuine Detroit-style pizza, with signature dough prepared daily using the finest flours and classic baking techniques. Detroit-style is rectangular, sauce-on-top pizza baked in a heavy pan similar to the auto parts trays found in Detroit in the 1940s. The light, focaccia-like dough develops a golden crunch on the bottom, and the sauce is ladled on just before serving, ensuring the cheese and dough provide crispy perfection. And at Via, it is always built right to the last bite.   
Via 313 specializes in offering alternatives inclusive of dietary needs! Vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free options are available. Plus, Via 313 was named the best Gluten Free Pizza in the US, by USA Today. They also offer a thin-crust bar-style pie, fresh salads, crave-able add-ons, and a selection of craft beer and cocktails. Open seven days a week for takeout or dine-in.

Food was delicious as expected and our server was excellent! This was the first time for 2 of my grandchildren eating the Detroit style pizza and my grandson it’s his new favorite.

Waa hoping to try the thin pizza, but now I got a reason to get back sooner than later. Great music, a little loud for conversation with older people… Solid place, food and service. Can not wait to go back!

I have no reason to ever bash Via 313. Been going here since the Austin location opened up. Very excited they are closer to home. Looking for nothing but more positive vibes in the future.

We were greeted and we sit down at the bar area with my wife. Love the atmosphere, packed but not super noisy. Carlos took care of us at the bar. We choose something to drink, we've got the Trick Pony. Very smooth and refreshing vodka based mix. We started with the Roasted Artichokes by Carlos suggestion. Very good choice! Didn't know I like artichokes that much. For the pizza we got "The Detroiter". All the edges were cheese crusted, with the sauce on top of the cheese, not under it. So so good! For the dessert Carlos suggested the Cinnamon Sticks. He also brought some vanilla bean ice cream to combine it with. Delicious combination! We have a blast and we'll be back to keep checking out other items on the menu!!!

If have any appreciation for pizza at all and you've never had Via 313 Detroit style pizza, you need to. There. End of review, all you need to know. For those that want a bit more, you're going to get a crust with a thin, crispy carmelized cheese layer, a soft crust under that, a sauce that's neither spicy nor sweet but has the smallest bit of tang, and together with the other toppings will result in a simply excellent pan pizza. I recommend The Cadillac, the fig jam on it is amazing. The restaurant can get a bit loud though, so beware of that, it's not going to favor quiet, intimate discussions.
