Two Gulf Coast greats together in one venue VooDoo Hut & Cat Scratch Kitchen. As the sun moves over the open air palapas, expansive patios showcase Kemah's beautiful sunsets yielding to a vibrant nightlife. Cat Scratch Kitchen serves a full menu of made-from-scratch dishes from brunch, lunch, dinner, and into the early morning. VooDoo Hut is a fast-paced bar & nightclub with theme nights and creative house cocktails. Both sides feature sports on 47 big screen HD TVs and live entertainment every day. Our Thanksgiving plans fell through and we found very little options until someone posted the event on Facebook. We’re so glad we went! The food was excellent and the Bailey gave us great service. Glad you can do this!!!

Brunch! Had some apple cinnamon pancakes and the breakfast biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage, and bacon. Can’t remember the name of the meal.

venue was great service was great. band was Awesome just had issues with other patrons . Seemed to have taken way too long to stop serving several individuals that were highly intoxicated, but over all great place to gather.

We are here a year ago on spring break and the food was phenomenal in 2021. So we returned this year (2022). The burgers were dry and over cooked, as was the chicken. We came on a Friday evening around 6pm and there was hardly anyone at the restaurant which was nice—but the waitstaff were very inattentive. The value for the price just wasn’t worth it.

I found that reserving a table at this place means nothing. Ask for standard seating, and got hi-top. I specifically avoid hi-tops due to leg circulation. We were seated behind a post, which made it hard to enjoy the band. Food was good, but their scratch-made bread was stale. Noise level of band way too high. Didn’t know that smoking was allowed in the restaurant, must be a Texas thing?

The food and service here are okay. Typical bar food flavors for the most part. It's a pretty big bar/restaurant. I think anyone can have fun here. I think the variety of music is good, however, sometimes it gets a little too techno at times. The most recent visit was on 10/30/2021. We watched the Astros and ate dinner but also participated in Halloween activities. So we had a good time.

Zach, the manager, was awesome. I called because I was lost. He directed me where to go and waiting for me and my family when we arrived. Our waitress, Julie, was on point! Great waitress to have, especially if you have young kids. She understood and anticipated our needs. The open play yard was fantastic for our kids. The bathrooms were immaculately clean. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
