The food without a doubt is amazing However, I put a message that we were celebrating my mother’s birthday through reservation but it wasn’t being acknowledged. We just needed a candle. Overall, it is a good place to hang but not to celebrate any occasion. It was very disappointing, should've taken my mom to a better restaurant for special occasion

Great food and exceptional service/hospitality. Love the vibes here and the take on Taiwanese food that’s new but doesn’t feel like “forced fusion.”

Food was solid. Their lo ba beng was probably one of the best in the city. The beef noodle soup was very good, especially the noodle quality, though the broth lacked the depth of some of the best places in Taiwan.

After a solo first visit recently, I returned bringing two friends and my husband. They loved their meat-inclusive meal as much as I loved my vegetarian one. Loved getting to try more dishes with a group, with everyone remarking how amazing it was that every single one was stellar. This is a special restaurant, worth traveling to, for me.

We had a great time! Our server was lovely. I really appreciated when she asked us what our favorite dishes were after we had finished eating. However, at the end of our meal, I felt like the drop off in attention to our table was grand. We tried to get our server’s attention for about 10 minutes to get the check. Other than that though, we had a great experience at Wenwen.

Finally made it to Wenwen, and quite honestly it exceeded my expectations significantly. I had two dishes, the Dong Bei salad, and the egg tofu dish, both of which were extraordinarily delicious. Tasted like the work of a kitchen still attempting to impress with every dish it sends out. My cocktail was similarly thoughtful and delicious. Also was surprised the music volume allowed for conversation comfortably, and the hospitality made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Kudos.
