• grilled shrimp $29 wu’s korean bbq is a modern korean bbq spot in streeterville where premium cuts are grilled tableside, paired with classic banchan and a full spread of korean comfort dishes. it’s a more elevated korean bbq experience and a great addition to downtown chicago, just steps from the river we honestly weren’t expecting the space to be this big. from the outside it looks modest, but once you walk in it just keeps going with plenty of seating for groups and celebrations we went with the special combo and it was a full experience from start to finish. everything is grilled for you at the table, so you can just relax and enjoy the meal. the hanger steak and skirt steak were our favorites, both incredibly tender and full of flavor. the appetizers were just as good. the seafood ddukbokki was probably our favorite, served in a creamy rosé-style sauce with plenty of seafood. they also have cocktails, beer towers, and other games that make it a fun spot for groups. definitely one of my new go-to spots for korean bbq in chicago if you’re looking for premium meats, great service, and a more elevated dining experience hosted by @wuskoreanbbqofficial 📍 403 e illinois st, chicago, il 60611
