The food is good but the service BAD, the waiter never cleaned up the table, took him forever to bring the wine and when he did he just open the bottle and leaved it there!! Overall a really bad experience and the worst part is that they automatically charged you with the 18% gratuity so off course they don’t have to make any effort !!!

HRW MENU- appetizers were good but very sm portion for such long wait…it took almost 20 min from ordering until they came. Main course-curry n railroad rice was good but we had better thai food some other places. Desserts-stick to the rice pudding;) Overall good but service was slow m our server was less than happy when taking order n refill our drinks -slow

Food was excellent. The service not so much. There was a long wait between appetizers, drinks and main course. Granted we were there on a busy Friday. The wait staff was not personable at all, and got my friends order wrong twice. Otherwise it was a good experience and I’d be willing to try again on a less busy night.

We really like this place! We loved everything we ordered, except the Tom Yum Goong soup was a little spicey for us; but the ribs (appetizer) and the Pad Kee Mao (main dish) were really favorful and delish. The food seems very authentic. Our waitress was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is nice. It's noisy all around, but not at your table. Parking is not the best, unless you valet. Highly recommend. We will come back to try the Chef's Table!

On a Saturday night, they need more than one person on the bar. We waited 25 minutes for our first drinks. Food was brilliant though, service was ok. Listening needs to be key.

First timer in this area to attend the new venue of Music box. Needed to find a place Within an easy walk of the theatre parking. Fruit Salad, Fried rice, strawberry mock tail and ribs are the ONLY thing that is fairly good on the menu. A friend invited me here for lunch one day and that is what we had. I told my husband about it because he had a taste for Thai food, so we came back so he can give it a try. This time we also tried the chicken lollipops which were disgusting and the pad Thai was even more gross. We told our server, who was rude and condescending, that we would like to speak with a manager and he brought out the chef, which was even more rude and condescending, saying they already comped the chicken lollipops they can't give a free meal. EXCUSE YOU?! Who is asking for a free meal?! We said the other food was ok, however the Pad Thai was slimy, lacked flavor, and just didn't taste good and that was only after one bite. So take it back as you just did the other guests who sent their food back, and do what you normally do with food that is sent back. Needless to say, his rude and arrogant attitude cost his server his tip and he lost customers. We left the Pad Thai on the table. Won't be back, won't recommend, not even for the food that was half way descent. Believe the other reviews, it's not the best Thai food in the city, definitely wasn't worth the drive for us, nor the hassle of the rude owner! Gross!

Wow! First time to Yi Peng and the dining experience is wonderful. I had the Volcano Prawns where the chef came out and lite the volcano on fire. Just fabulous food. I can't wait to go back!

Beef short rib meat was very tender. Eggplant side was tasty. Panang curry sauce was tasty, but zero vegetables; usually served with capsicum at other restaurants, so this was unexpected. "Medium" heat was very mild. Service was good.

Booked the 9 course chefs table last night for our anniversary as a surprise for my wife and I as we had recently went to Thailand over Christmas and I wanted to have an “upscale experience” versus our street food and more local fare that we had while in Bangkok/Phuket/Koh Lanta. Upon arrival we were told that they were too busy and we could have a seat at a two top against the wall (literally worst table in the restaurant) and try their regular menu. I explained it was for our anniversary and I had booked the tasting menu and I had confirmed the reservation the day before, however we were out of luck. Ended up leaving and went somewhere elsewhere. Really disappointed in the lack of professionalism by the restaurant, lack of manager presence and the general disappointment of booking a special occasion to basically being told too bad here’s our regular menu that’s available any day of the week.

Wow! We made reservations for a chef's table experience, hosted by Chef Jett... words cannot describe the gastronomic experience my date and I had. It was nothing short of amazing. This is by far one of the best dining experiences I've ever had since living in Houston for the past year and a half. I'd also add, it is definitely one of my best experiences I've ever had from all over the world. I highly recommend making a reservation for the chef's table experience.

Had their New Year's Eve 3 course offering and everything was delicious. The waitstaff was very attentive and the kitchen was prompt with bringing out the dishes. Also had pineapple margaritas which were wonderful and not too sweet. Will definitely come back again and recommend highly.

Four of us dined here for the first time. Cocktails, appetizers, and service were great. Each of us ordered different entrees and they were all delicious. Highly recommend.

It was disappointing that the last call even for drinks was at 9pm In what world are they living in that restaurant??? We arrived at 7pm and and 9pm we were forced to leave!!!!

Yummy appetizers particularly the soft crab. We had the whole snapper fish for entrée, and it was beautifully presented and delicious. Will definitely coming back to try other items on the menu.
