There are colours galore here - A blue, yellow and a private hire white room are complemented by 33 different styles of chair, original antique furniture and multicoloured toilets- this makes sure Zizzi Uxbridge is awash with personality, colour...and historical influence.

Inspiration for this restaurant includes Brunel, the designer of the first railway line in London, the Metropolitan line.

Fresh Talent illustrator Nadia Taylor references the ‘Metroland’ publication as the basis of her work.

Pre-marathon carb-loading meal so I needed it to be early (6.30 table) and not messed around by an incompetent waiter who lied about the reason for a 40+mins delay to serving our main courses. Food was functional at best. Disappointing evening, not worth the money. At least the poor service saved us the expense of dessert, more drinks and a tip. Freezing cold in there too. Much better when it was Auberge, not this soulless dump.

They didn't have any record of our table booking through open table, however they did manage to find us a table. The waiter serving us, was very nice and attentive, however the poor guy was rushed off his feet and seemed to be the only person serving. Despite this, we did have a really nice meal and the new salted caramel dessert is delish!

If only all Zizzis were in buildings like the Uxbridge one. I think that what makes this Zizzi a favourite with us. Although the staff couldn't find our booking, there was no fuss and we were seated quickly. Pizzas were great and the staff were on hand, but not too present. If only they had a wine bar too - we'd be more frequent visitors!

A nice place with very good food and a decent atmosphere the service can be a little bit slow and i ordered a side dish that never made it (which turned out to be a good thing as i was full) but it also did not make it to the bill, make reservations ahead!

Not a good experience. Service was very slow, so much so that we had to leave before our desserts came as we had cinema tickets. Also the main course had to go back to the kitchen because it came up cold. We had left plenty of time to eat, the restaurant was not busy when we arrived but clearly the staff were not able to cope.

Although the meal was good we did book online but they didn't give us a table at 8.30 and we had to wait another 25-30mins to get one. Very disappointed so found using open table very pointless.
