The ‘Zoomak,’ the name itself means an old Korean tavern/bistro that served travelers with good food, drinks, and even lodging.

We wanted to do the same by showcasing an authentic Korean dining experience with a hint of a modern take on it. We are ready to create a new category for Korean cuisine in Vancouver.

Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. We especially loved the variety of banchan, the grilled meats, and the crispy fried chicken. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere made the whole experience even better. One of our favorite meals in Vancouver. We’ll definitely be back!

The chef imparts exquisite flavour to all of the dishes offered...from side dishes, appetizers, and main courses, the balance and profile of all are delightful. The atmosphere is upbeat and the service from all staff as Zoomak is outstanding. This location is an absolute GEM!!!

Good but the food was too “fusioned”, wouldn’t say it’s super authentic. Everything is priced pretty high too overall, you have to pay for side dishes as well. Servers were super kind and the service and ambiance were good.

Fantastic food, huge portions. Restaurant was nice inside and lots of casual patio seating as well. Benches are super hard but the chairs were comfy. Servers were nice but took a while to flag down every time. The beverage menu was very limited, for example there only had one type of white wine, available by the bottle only. The soju drinks were sickly sweet. The bathrooms stalls were so small and didn’t fully lock. I could hardly use these facilities, and I’m small. The food though was fabulous. Would return for that.

We shared four dishes and each were out of this world delicious! Service was overwhelmed by number of patrons so you must flag a server down, but they were very kind about it and ultimately remembered everything we wanted, so it wasn’t bad

Super great food! Best is the bossam or the grilled cheek wrap. Spicy seafood stew is incredibly delicious!! Worth trying
