I love this place!! A throw back to back east Italian restaurants delicious food, my favs are pasta vongole, seafood salad, and baked clams. I love the ambiance, if you go ask to speak to Johnny Roastbeef! He’s the real deal

I’ve had Rao’s jarred sauce. That’s exactly what the sauce on my pasta tasted like. My chicken fish was dry. And they were out of a lot appetizers because of a large party that cleaned them out earlier. I wo t go there again. Overpriced and not the greatest food…and I’m Italian, so I grew up with an Italian mom who’s could cook!

We had a wonderful dinner. Perfect wine and full selection of delicious appetizers and excellent mains. The service was spectacular. And we loved our conversation with Johnny Roastbeef outside. We highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Italian food lovers. We will be back!

I like that it was warm atmosphere. No rush, super comfortable. It is like you don't need to apologize they are not going to hassle you. Just don't be a jerk and you will be respected 100%

First off, the service is spectacular and very personable. From our server, Marco to the manager, Johnny “Roast Beef” you’re made to feel like a V. I. P. Then there’s the food. New York Italian at its finest. Delicious! Valet service was perfect as well. Rao’s is definitely on our regulars list.

The front of this restaurant reminds me of my fav Italian spots in Manhattan or New Jersey, and the back feels more LA. The food is so good. The service is exceptional. Drinks - nothing crazy- solid. Good. You wanna eat here. Good for gluten free Italian food lovers too.

Rao's is always an amazing experience! The food was especially great last night and the service was on pointy as always. From our charming server to the food runner and busser the entire FOH staff was really nice and professional. The LOVELY hostess was so kind to my mom who turned 92 yesterday and we were celebrating her bday. 6 stars!

Made a mistake on the reservation, but the hostess had us seated within ten minutes. Both entrees were delicious, with the veal with piccata sauce being a standout. The pork chops could have used fewer jalapeños, but they were still good. Side pastas were a bit lesser value($15 for spaghetti agli olio?), but they were still well-done.

We love eating here! But it was extra delicious this time! The roasted red peppers and mozzarella cheese were delicious! The short ribs with celery root purée is the best in town! The bone in Veal Parmesan was also off the charts!! Also - why does their espresso always taste extra good? The best !!!!
