Opening in 1939, The Regency Room has remained at the heart of the Roanoke social and cultural experience. Super surprised The Regency Room holds a AAA four diamond rating. I’ve had better service at Olive Garden. The she crab soup has way too much soup compared to the amount of crab you get. The quail appetizer was tough and dry. The restaurant wasn’t busy but yet we were left sitting with dirty dishes and empty glassware throughout our courses while our server endlessly meandered about the restaurant. I ordered the tea soaked cod for my entree and asked the server if it came with any sides. I was told it came with “grass” for a garnish and everything else was cooked with the cod. Being told that, I ordered bok choy and risotto for sides to go along with it. The cod arrives with no “grass” to be found and two clear sides: green beans and a grain of some sort. The server forgot my risotto anyway so I told him to forget about it. Had I known it actually came with sides I wouldn’t have ordered anything else to come along with it. The fish and bok choy had a nice flavor. For my birthday dessert I ordered the flourless chocolate cake. It came out with no candle or birthday recognition on the plate. I asked the server if they do anything for birthdays and he had no idea we were celebrating. It was on my reservation and the hostess acknowledged my birthday upon arrival. He took the dessert back to the kitchen and came back out with a candle on the plate. Anyway, the dessert was horrid. I swapped it out for the apple crumble. An overall disappointing lackluster experience. We wont be returning.

Dinner with friends at The Regency Room was spectacular. The food and beverages were delightful. The music provided additional ambience for our evening. The staff at The Regency Room is superior.

My granddaughter and I enjoy going to brunch as often as we can. The Regency Room is a perfect spot for us to brunch. From the service to the piano playing to the food - it’s all perfect!

The best breakfast in the Hilton brand or any hotel chain. The quality of food is superb, the service by career waiter Skip the best, the dining room is old school elegant, including cloth table clothes and napkins. Well done Hotel Roanoke Curio. Many of the staff have been there for the thirty years or so I've been staying there. It is beautiful when decorated for Christmas too.

Simply amazing!!! Diane and Chef Wells helped me recreate a special memory with my grandma from 9 years ago when we went to The Regency Room. Chef Wells recreated the same dish we had 9 years ago and Diane had special touches throughout the night. Seeing my grandma light up at the recreation was amazing! Thank you so much for everything!!!

Did not appreciate the Autumn menu. Big disappointment on multiple levels. Filet mignon was fatty. Barata cheese appetizer had no flavor, venison was overcooked, apple crisp was burnt
