Delicious, well-priced, great service. Just what Fells Point needs!
Great service
Food was very good and highly recommended
Was really looking forward to the exprience and we were disappointed. Thought the restaurant was going to be more upscale in food and ambience. We had an average dinner, expensive drinks. I actually thought my $13 glass of wine was ok so as we left I asked to see the bottle since it was not what I ordered but agreed to when the chosen one was unavailable. I have an app that gives me going prices of the bottles and the bottle was $13 retail. Wow. Sad but true so would not go back.
Made a reservation for friends 30th Birthday. We had a great time, our table was ready for us right away and the duck was amazing!
Overall pleasant dining experience. I ordered the honey roasted duck which was nicely prepared but had virtually no other sides with it. Although the menu said beets it was merely a one bite garnish. Nice ambiance, great location.
Great place! Good food, upbeat and youthful vibe, good drinks. I reccommend!
Service was great. Bronzino was underwhelming for $28 and a bit over cooked, but I should have gotten something more of a French specialty. Service was terrific and overall a good spot to try.
First time here at had a great time. Our server Mariah was awesome. The food and drinks delicious and the total atmosphere was very cozy. Will definitely return. Thank you!
An absolute delight. The food was excellent and I would put this new restaurant right up there with the best in Baltimore easily.
Had such a wonderful meal! We started with the risotto, then I had the halibut and my husband had the tournedos, and we shared the chocolate mousse for dessert. The food was all amazing, unique, flavorful, and well-prepared. Our server was great too. We’ll definitely be going back.
We had reservations for 3 for brunch outside. Beautiful weather and PERFECT food! From the steak & eggs, chicken & waffles to poached eggs - food was flavorful and top notch!
Our server started a bit aloof but it was early and things were just getting underway for the shift. She was spot on and attentive by the end!
FANTASTIC experience!!
Dined here for an anniversary in which we traveled from out of town. The chicken was the best I’ve ever had, and despite the fact that a couple of things happened outside of the restaurants’ control, our server was superb in handling it and I was a very happy gal at the end of the night. Highly recommend.
The French onion soup was great. The duck breat was very very rare. For an upscale menu the atmosphere and service were very casual. I made a reservation but they seated us at the bar which was disappointing.
Food was excellent; great risotto & Halibut. Drinks were very good.
Biggest issue as for all of Fells Point is parking. We were lucky to have someone leaving a prime spot as we got to the area.
Would definitely return!
The service was a bit slow at the restaurant and it was not very busy, the food was okay nothing special. It was priced on the higher side for it was . We tried it out for a girls night out, since our group likes to try new restaurant. I would most likely not come back, it's an average restaurant in Baltimore there are better ones!
Good ambiance and phenomenal service, everyone was really nice. Unfortunately the food was underwhelming and I had high expectations. I thought it was a well designed dish but poorly executed. Did not pack the flavors it could and for that price tag the quality should be far superior.
Food was delic! Highly recommended the charcuterie and cheese board. The staff was attentive but not overbearing. Timing was perfect, we did not feel rushed through the meal and the ambiance is perfect for date night or with friends. Can’t wait to go back.
We've been multiple times. It's a lovely restaurant with delicious food and the staff is extraordinarily thoughtful and pleasant.
The description says "French" but I wouldn't call it that - more like modern American. Food is fresh, well prepared, interesting flavor combinations, well prepared with good wine pairings. Choice of small plates and regular entrees. Attentive friendly service. I was there with teenage daughter so didn't sample cocktails but they sounded good! Overall very nice experience right on the water.
Great staff, really friendly and inviting to anyone who comes in. Would recommend as a cute date spot in Sunday’s!!
Food was more of America’s take in French then what you would see at a comparable restaurant in France. Food was creative, but not authentic. Service was okay.
First time visiting...valet is 10 but probably worth it due to the location...seating is limited so definitely recommend reservations...beer and wine list is good...brocolli app was very good...scallops were excellent...branzino was okay...a bit dry and needed a little more seasoning...service was average...slow at times...would give it another try :)
The food was delicious! Our waiter was very helpful and provided excellent service. The smoked scallop ceviche came out under a glass dome that was lifted to release the smoke tableside - very unique. We loved the Golden Goose cocktail, the scallop entree, and the beef tournedos. The chocolate soufflé was just okay; I wish it had been dark chocolate. Other than that, everything was amazing! Looking forward to returning.
Food was excellent. So was our server but the other server needs to learn to use his inside voice. Was so loud that my wife and I couldn’t hear each other when he was talking.
Fantastic food.
Great wine .
Looking forward to going back !!!
The food was overall good, but not necessarily worth the high prices
We really enjoyed our first visit to Duck Duck Goose. At first we sat inside but there were some patrons having a good time and it seemed a little loud so we opted to move outside and had a great time watching the parade of people, it's a very lively street seen. The service was just a little scattered, but super friendly and helpful so no problem for us as we wanted to linger. Everything we ate was fantastic, the eggplant and broccoli rabe, duck risotto, and scallops were all wonderfully flavorful, and perfectly done. Also the Belgian beer on tap was super tasty. We'll be back to explore the menu more.
Our waiter was very goo and helped with the valet parking as well. We asked for the duck to be medium but it was pretty rare and tough. The drinks were great and the decor is fab but it was very warm needed a/c. Realize it’s new and will try it again.
We went to Duck, Duck Goose for our son’s birthday.
The food was spectacular with the exception on one shareable — a crab imperial with avocado. It had little to no taste.
The restaurant made up from that setback with spectacular entrees. I had the beef tournedos and felt like it was the best piece of beef I’ve had in awhile and the sauce was simply stunning in its richness and compatibility with the meat.
All in all, we a great time, starting with the duck charcuterie.
Pleasant, but noisy, typical of other French bistros.
The hostess was very attentive, food was delicious, creative and well executed. It’s a newer restaurant so we expected some service hiccups, but it was abysmal. Took 15 mins for menus, another 15 for 2 cocktails. She didn’t go over the menu and struggled to answer simple questions. Bread was brought to the table after an hour+, entrees took a long time and she never stopped by to set expectations or refill drinks. The other server seemed much more attentive, visiting her tables often and making conversation, and she was the one who kept our water refilled. Hoping it was a combination fluke of 1 bad server and ironing out expediting kinks in a new kitchen because the food and ambiance was fantastic!
Very very small portions. Don’t come here hungry. The food was mostly good except one thing we ordered was awful. Good service and nice outdoor seating. I probably wouldn’t return though because it was just too tiny of portions.
Delicious food and great service. New restaurant still getting its footing, but bends over backwards to make sure you have a good night.
Risotto with duck confit was so tasteless we had to add salt (which I never do), pepper and red pepper flakes...Lamb Bolognase dish....my son makes better pasta. I’ve never seen steak tartar other than with a fresh, red beef color..this was on brown side. Other dishes were just ok. The martini glasses were so small for $15 cost ..either get regular size martini glasses or charge much less. I don’t mind paying for good food with good portion size but this was expensive (even with my reward amount)..will not be going back. Cute place though...
We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and decided to try a new place. Based on Yelp reviews I picked DDG. It’s a small, very clean, casual/modern concept. I thought the food was good. We had the broccolini, risotto, and sea scallops. The first two were delicious- the balance of flavors in both dishes was excellent. The scallops were a bit too salty, but still enjoyable. I tried the Golden Goose cocktail- very refreshing and not too sweet. My only real complaint was that the dining room was really hot. We were both wondering why there was no AC. In fact, we gave up outdoor seating to sit in the dining room thinking it would be less hot. Also, was disappointed that when I made our reservation I noted it was for our anniversary, and when they called to confirm our reservation, they confirmed we were celebrating our anniversary, but yet they did nothing special to acknowledge it when we were there. What was the point of confirming it? Lol Oh well.
We had a wonderful experience at Duck Duck goose. The risotto and lamb boulenaise small plates were wonderful for sharing and the duck was outstanding. Service was great. It was a little noisy but we would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. We went with friends and everyone was pleased with the food - duck, tournados and scallops.
Service was extremely slow and there were only 3 tables. Food was ok, drinks were great, but the numerous flies buzzing around the dining room led to an early exit from brunch.
After reading some of the reviews I was hesitant to try this place out...and I’m sure glad I didn’t listen to anyone else because this place is AMAZING!
Our hostess/server Desiree greeted us warmly at the door and took us right to the courtyard, which is super cute, and you get to walk through the kitchen which is a small sneak peek at what’s to come!
For our starters, we had a delicious Beef Tartare and a plate of Charred Broccolini, which was incredible, and unlike any other dish I’ve ever had.
We shared the Agnolotti next, per our servers recommendation, which was FANTASTIC! The sauce for the stuffed pasta is velvety, rich, lick-the-plate yummy!
We rounded out the meal with the Honey Roasted Duck (we added Foie Gras too, thanks to the server) and the Halibut.
The Duck was crispy and cooked perfectly, and the Foie Gras just took it to another level! The Halibut was served in a puff pastry, kind of like a Beef Wellington of Halibut, which was buttery and light and complimented the fish perfectly.
My husband and I live in the area and we plan on making this a regular stop on our rotation of restaurants that serve incredible food with great service, in a beautiful Fells Point space!
We visited Duck Duck Goose on a hot. humid evening. You enter a large comfortable bar space and enter the dining area through a pair of french doors. The dining area is long and narrow. The evening we visited the AC in the dining area was not working well enough to cool the dining area. I mentioned my discomfort to our server who replied "I know, I'm sorry". So, my pro comments are all related to the food. Every item we had was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The agnolotti with peas was one of the best dishes with peas I have had in almost 30 years, absolutely delicious. The chicken dish was so perfectly done and flavorful, amazing. The prices are a little high for the food though. The cons are the staff's inexperience. Service over all was fine, there were little things that were lacking. Staff dressed in t-shirts and shorts - yes a bistro is casual but it is not a sandwich shop. I had to ask for the french doors to the dining area be propped open to allow some air flow. My request was address immediately by 2 staff members and the room did cool down some, so the staff does earn an A for effort. The wine list is somewhat limited and could use a few more varieties. We will visit again, once the weather cools down.
