Overall great food and experience. Have dined at King & Duke a multitude of times and they never fail to amaze.

Great place for a date! Relaxed ambient specially a bit latter, the bread basket is a must!

Food too salty and a lot of oil

The trout is absolutely divine! I get it every time I visit. It pairs well with the southern greens and the roasted carrots. I love everything about this place!

Overall it was a good meal and the service was even better. I was disappointed in the seating. I made the reservation several days in advance and made a note in Open Table that I was having a business dinner and wanted an out of the way table where we could be out of the bustle of the dining room as best as possible. I even called to talk to them to make sure they understood. They did not return my first call, so I called again before getting a return call. They said they could accommodate us. I even got there early the scout out the place and restated my need and asked if we could be seated on the mezzanine that would be quieter. I was told it was reserved already for larger groups (we had a table of 4). We were seated in the middle of the dining room right in front of the kitchen. Thanks for nothing! They totally ignored my request. I went up on the mezzanine while we were eating and there were no large groups only 1 table of 6 and the rest tables of 2 and 4.

My friend and I had lunch to celebrate both of our birthdays. It was both of our first times to eat here. Our waiter started us out with a surprise glass of Prosecco. Our lunch (pimento cheese hushpuppies / Duke burger & a huge portion of fries) was delicious and it ended with another surprise of a "to die for" cake with caramel sauce and home made ice-cream. We gave it a 10! And will recommend and go back again!

Love this spot. Been for brunch several times. Service can be hit or miss depending on your server but the food fantastic. The drinks are great as well. Would definitely come back for dinner or happy hour as well.

The service was much better than my previous experience here. The only issues this time around were that the NY strip was a bit fatty, especially for the price, and out of the three side we got, the only one that seemed to be truly "family style" was the potatoes puree. The swuahs and greens, although delicious, were very small for four people. Also, I'm not sure why they inquire if this is for a special occasion when making a reservation if they aren't going do something or at lest acknowledge it.

Our server, Patrick, was fantastic. He took the time to answer questions, made suggestions and was very attentive. The food was absolutely excellent and we can't wait to come back.

Outstanding staff. We came here for a fun anniversary and every staff member congratulated us, on top of signing a card wishing us a happy anniversary. Champagne was also on the house. The food was excellent as always, and could not have asked for a better night.

We had a wonderful dinner. We were late to our reservation and they were kind enough to still seat us. Our waiter and the other wait staff were awesome and very helpful. I would visit again and sit in another spot in the restaurant as we were close to the front by the door/off of the bar.

Anniversary

My wife and I loved our dinner tonight. We started with the endive salad and the bbq shrimp. Both were excellent. Then we had the lasagna and the chicken. Both were absolutely delicious!

The waiter was fantastic. And the manager came by to check and see if we were enjoying our dinner. She was incredibly attentive and engaging.

We topped it off with two of the homemade ice creams - vanilla and brownie. What a perfect ending to a perfect dinner. We will definitely be back!

We have been to King and Duke many times and it never disappoints. We had some good friends in town this weekend and chose to have dinner there again....it was fantastic. The server was knowledgeable about the food and drinks and everything came out hot and deliciously.

We’ve dined at King + Duke on multiple ocassions so my son selected it for my birthday. However, the food this time was a BUST. Burned grill shrimp appetizer - tough pork loin - burger orders ALL wrong. Chocolate tarte dessert wasn’t good either. Popovers weren’t great as typical either. Ugh. Maybe there was a new chef. Either way, I’ll think twice before returning. Disappointing.

We have been to King and Duke multiple times. Overall the food was ok. It was a bit tight from a seating perspective and our food took over an hour to be presented which impacted our experience. Will give them one more chance.

Good food and Corbin provided superb service! Unfortunately, the place is just so loud it is impossible to have a conversation across the table. It doesn’t help that the music is blaring so loudly. It is a restaurant, not a night club - and most people like to talk during dinner.

The Chicken entire was excellent.

Our waiter, Jonathan, was fantastic! Took extremely good care of us, had excellent recommendations on offerings. It was a memorable experience!

My only complaint is that there are not many options for vegans on the brunch menu.

Servicer was prompt and quick with our brunch beverages.
Unique food choices that were of high quality and taste.
Beef Brisket Hash was tender large cubes with deep fried new
potatoes and excellent seasoning.
Mark Twain would have enjoyed overbite.

Our server, Corbin was fantastic. He was the highlight of the meal. The food was extremely salty....and a few dishes we only took a few bites (scallops and chicken). The vegetables arrived at the table looking tired...it seemed as if the green beans had been sitting on a warmer for too long. And again.....all salty. We won't be back.

Excellent service, definitely will go back. Food is always exceptional.

Our service was top notch. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the evening on the patio.

We had a business lunch. We were very pleased with King and Duke for excellent service, delicous food in a relaxing atmosphere.

My wife and I shared a salad of endive leaves filled with apple, cheese and pecans, which was seasonal and very good. My halibut filet was served with a napa cabbage slaw. My wife's trout filet was quite large. The pureed potatoes with cheese were to die for.

Went here for a birthday and everything was great. We got the King- a little too salty and overpriced. Will try entrees next time.

The menu rotates, but the current menu made for the best meal of 2018
Our meal was:
1. Georgia grilled shrimp
2. Steak tartare
3. Oysters, which were so good we ordered a second batch
4. The duck was the best duck I’ve ever had
5. Toffee pudding

Had a wonderful experience, food and loved the atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back.

Rashan, our waiter was so attentive and personable. The food was all delicious and so fresh, and the bread.... can’t even describe to you how amazing it was. It was the best bread anywhere. It was our anniversary and they brought out complementary champagne for my husband and me. Wonderful experience.
