Comfortable friendly atmosphere. Food is very good and the service is great, especially Spencer.
Lots of nice food choices.
The food was great (dry rub steak, brussel sprouts, stuffed grape leaves), the wine was great, our waiter was awesome, and the restaurant was adorable. Would definitely go back for more!
Brought some friends from out of town. Had a vegan in our party and the menu had something to satisfy everyone. Everything was delicious.
Great place I never knew about! Excellent bang for your buck.
The service was very good; very attentive, prompt and pleasant. The setting is also nice and cozy. The food, however, while it was ok, it was not great. I would not give it another try.
Our server was amazing and the food was delicious. I loved the quaint coziness of the restaurant. I went for brunch on a Saturday. The peanut butter pancakes were amazing. The serving size was huge - three very large pancakes. I could only eat one. I might suggest to split it.
Food is excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very intimate. Just off the main street in the middle of Federal Hill action!
Get the House smoked salmon! It is a specialty and delicious!
I hosted an intimate baby shower here for a group of five, and it was the perfect night! The staff was attentive, informative and friendly. The ambiance was amazing, as it got darker outside the lights seemed to dim and it made the candles on the table shine brighter, the MTB was very happy with her surprise! We LOVED THE MAC AND CHEESE AND BISCUITS! We will absolute be back! This place is a great gem to the community and was worth the Uber into the city!
I was very impressed with the service and food. The staff was friendly, the ambiance was comfortable and the food was really good.
Three of us had a nice brunch here. Service was very good. We were served some blueberry bread with our drinks. Entrées were very good. I had the smoked salmon omelette which was delicious, my husband had the chocolate chip pancakes, and my son had the “Back to Bed” sandwich which was enormous and loaded with meat. He seemed to enjoy it! I would definitely dine here again.
I always enjoy my time here. Great food and great service.
Promptly greeted and seated. Friendly and professional waitress. Lunch with friend. Always enjoy the chicken pot pie with small salad starter. Nice neighborhood restaurant.
Simply the best.
A sophisticated friend visiting from Tucson and Santa Barbara loved her scallops with pancetta as did my husband. Generous portions, tasty seasoning with very fresh ingredients. The creamed spinach is to die for!
Incredible display of cuisine and an extremely attentive and friendly staff
Loved this spot! Will definitely return....the service was top notch amd the food delicious and unique.
Food was excellent
SoBo is our neighborhood “go-to” restaurant. Good food (try the Mac and Cheese or Chicken Pot Pie if you are looking for comfort food) and great service by a friendly staff that truly cares about its customers. Also good for Sunday brunch too! We love it.
Wide variety of options. Creative sandwiches and soups. Great portion sizes. The BLT Biscuit was amazing. Friendly waitstaff. Good service
Friendly service, great imaginative menu & food, reasonable in a funky, fun neighborhood.
Attentive staff willing to accommodate likes and dislikes. Good neighborhood place.
Friendly, efficient service, along with nice window seat. Cute, cozy spot. Dinner lived up to reviews. Caesar salad and house salad were excellent. Entrees of cod and beef were perfectly cooked. Loved the creamed spinach and fingerling potatoes with my steak. Enjoyed their red sangria. Worth getting a pitcher!
Great brunch spot. Loved the variation of the menu. Salad was pretty big. Would've asked for a smaller version. Chicken pot pie was very savory. Needed a little heavier flavor but very good overall. Loved the presentation which gives the option to eat the crust or skip it. Bellini was well balanced. Definitely going back.
Unfortunately the food was delivered cold.
Ate there the night before the same thing and was very good.!!
Only 2 tables occupied when we were there...
Maybe the chef was having a bad night??
They did comp me a beer
Our meal was wonderful, as always. We were there for early Sunday brunch. I highly recommend any dish at Sobo with biscuits. My husband got a ham and egg on a biscuit and I got chipped beef on biscuits with eggs. Both came with nice fresh fruit. Our server was efficient, cleared plates appropriately, refilled coffee. This place is great, upbeat atmosphere, friendly staff. It is one of our favorites.
Sobo Cafe is one of our favorite spots in the city. Always great food and service. Can’t wait to go back!
Delicious meal reasonably priced. We selected a variety of appetizers and our main dishes were superb. I especially recommend the scallop and salmon main dishes.
Top quality ingredients, cooked expertly - great bread and biscuits prepared in house - great wines - friendly neighborhood vibe in trendy Federal Hill
GREAT LITTLE GEM IN Federal Hill. Delightful staff! Have had both Brunch and Dinner there. Excellent
Visited SoBo on the occasion of a friend's photo exhibit and stayed for a fabulous dinner. Food was outstanding, as was the service. Would definitely return here in the future.
Great dinner to celebrate a birthday. Wonderful meal! The scallops were to die for!
Meal and service was fantastic. Great restaurant !
Everything we had was amazing! We all ordered typical brunch items, but the slight twist and fresh ingredients made all the dishes stand out from other places where we've had similar items.
Great local Fed Hill eatery. Super food - surprisingly creative. All ingredients were high quality. From perfectly grilled/seasoned scallops to great burger. Sides were great, particularly the oven-roasted fingerlings instead of fries with the burgers. Extremely friendly, very accommodating staff in a small and very old building. If it only had a full liquor license instead of just beer/wine, but it's basically a local tavern with GREAT food and service.
A true neighborhood gem with delicious food and great service. When full it can get rather loud so
my recommendation would be to book your dinner reservation for an early time or your lunch late when it is quieter.
Excellent menu and great service. A charming, cozy neighborhood place.
Went for restaurant week. Portions were deceptive - looked small but we could barely finish desert. Very cozy local place - just fancy enough without being pretentious. Homemade pasta was outstanding but ever so slightly under seasoned. Spinach pie did not disappoint. Would totally come here for a la carte dining. Very attentive service without being intrusive.
Tuesday night live music in a cozy neighborhood spot with friendly owner and staff and delicious food. What more need I say?!? (My pan seared salmon was delicious tonight and from a prior visit I can highly recommend the french onion soup. Yum!!!)
The food at SoBo has been consistently wonderful. We have been to SoBo at least 6 times in the last 14 months and are very happy to have a place so reliably good. Can't wait till the cold weather to go back to have their yummy chicken pot pie.
