Wasn’t what I expected. The food and portions wasn’t worth the value.
My favorite Atlanta restaurant For many years. Excellent food. Great service. Wonderful ambience.
As always wonderful food and service.
After ordering wine and appetizers the hostess approached my table and informed me that the restaurant was closing down due to “maintenance”. There was no explanation offered, no incentive to ever return, no apology. I looked around and there were still people eating which was confusing. Not sure what type of establishment does this but I would not return nor recommend it to any of my friends or colleagues. Totally unprofessional.
My husband and I have been to La Tavola for dinner several times as well as with friends and family. We've always had super friendly service and excellent meals. Selection is good and rotates seasonally I believe.
Always phenomenal
Our favorite place in the city, La Tavola always offers great service, wonderful food and a dining experience that is a tremendous value for a nice restaurant with knowledgeable and attentive servers. We love their fresh, homemade pasta and creative specials as well as their regular menu items. This evening we had the Scallop Risotto, which was incredible! Unfortunately it is in its final days as a holdover from the Tomatofeast menu, so hurry in before 10/10 to get it! We all had the Braised Pork Shoulder, because it, too, was recommended by our server who said it was also a holdover from the Tomatofeast menu. It was outstanding in terms of the flavors, tenderness of the meat and tastiness of the accompanying vegetables. We left that evening anticipating when we might come back for our next delicious meal!
Emily was Outstanding server. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. Happy B'day to all the September servers.
Had dinner with a friend on a Monday evening so the restaurant was not crowded. The canelloni was wonderful, the risotto with scallops was good. The wine was very good. I tasted two before I made my selection. My friend enjoyed the same dishes as me and she had a different wine which she liked. We both said that we would return to La Tavola.
Delicious traditional Italian trattoria. Just like in NYC! Run run for their pastas.
Excellent service, quiet atmosphere, great food & quality cocktails
The service and food were great, the cocktails thin....the tables are close so no conversations that need not to be heard.... the prosciutto and melon appetizer was especially outstanding!
Had a wonderful evening. Food was great; service was great. Definitely will return.
Scott and his team do an excellent job all the way around. One of my favorite spots in Atlanta.
I had great time for birthday dinner.
Special birthday cake was an extra touch.
They’re all nice and pleasant.
I enjoyed my dinner greatly.
Nice place. Crowded however. I felt cramped. Menu options not that clear a bit over priced.
Wife’s b’day demanded the best and that’s what we got
Delicious food and delightful service. Porch on back is a lovely area, weather permitting.
Wonderful as always...It is a warm, inviting, and delicious place to eat great Italian food.
Very wonderful experience for my date and I. It was their first time visiting the establishment, and needless to say they were overall impressed. The wine selection is very broad, and you can find a fit for every dish. Always a top pick when visiting Atlanta area.
Lauren takes great care of customers!!
Delicious food, wonderful and friendly service, and an impressive wine list
Erica was fantastic! Food is always on point!
Highly recommend!
This is my third time at La Tavola. Last week, we decided to try a very popular Italian spot elsewhere, and the entire time were wishing we were back at La Tavola so we made a reservation. Our favorite dish wasn't on the menu (the gnuudi) but we tried three other new dishes that were superb. I've never been disappointed at La Tavola. One of my favorite places in Atlanta
Always a pleasure dining here! One of my favorite spots in Atlanta.
Great experience & enjoyed meeting Esther! Good drinks and everything was great.
La Tavola is our go-to neighborhood Italian restaurant for special occasions, or just casual dinners with friends. The food and service are always exceptional, and it's walking distance from our house.
Superb attention to detail by Lauren. Excellent service by Alyesia (sp?). And the food was delectable. Fresh Ricotta starter - an overly generous portion with fresh bread. Refreshing and delicious. We enjoyed Scallop Risotto and the Quatro Formaggi Agnolotti. Both were excellent but the Agnolotti had the edge for me. And they graciously split our Caesar Salad for us. Also we cannot omit the perfect martini, followed by a crisp Puglian Rose. Finally, our enormous thanks to Fifth Group Restaurants and La Tavola in particular for participating in Dining with Gratitude in benefit of The Giving Kitchen, which was our reason for this dinner on this particular night.
Quick weekday meal. Great as usual. Randall did a wonderful job taking care of us.
This is one of my favorite restarants. Never disappointed in the quality of food or the great customer service.
The food makes Tavola one of the best Italian restaurants in Atlanta and the servers are knowledgeable and personable, but here's a tip for new diners. When making a reservation, unless the weather permits you to sit on their comfortable patio, reserve a booth if dining indoors. We forgot to do that and had to sit at a table tucked between other tables and the open kitchen. That meant we couldn't relax because the kitchen was busy and our table kept getting bumped by servers and customers.
Lovely spot, amazing food and wine. Highly recommend!
Special Place.. Boutique Italian - Not pretentious / Not Corporate - Great food / Great Wine list - thoughtful servers !
Sorry, we didn't care for this place at all. The food was not what we expected. It was too "artsy". This is supposed to be an Italian restaurant but the food was someone's definition of Italian. When we arrived the host tried to sit us at a 2 foot patio table in the front window of the restaurant when clearly there as plenty of seating available. My guy is big and there was no way we were going to be able to sit there comfortably. We were getting ready to leave when the hostess put us in a booth. None of the empty tables we saw when we arrived were ever filled. Seriously? The only bright spot was our waitress Emma who was outstanding.
Great food and welcoming experience
Great food and experience. Terrace was enjoyable.
Always our “go to” choice. Always greeted with a big Welcome. Know everyone and they know us. We have never had a bad meal or experience.
As someone who lives in the neighborhood, I keep on trying this restaurant even though it continues to disappoint. No hostess to be seen when we walk in. A server came over to check us in, but said the hostess would have to seat us. The service once we got to our table was just so, so. The waitress seemed a bit confused. The food was just ok-nothing that would draw you back in.
We went for a family brunch on Sunday and had a terrific time. The waitstaff really knew the menu and was very attentive and helpful. Will definitely want to come back again and try some of the other offerings.
Excellent food and service.
