Nino's - Atlanta
The waiter could tell we were on a date and gave us plenty of space. We didn't feel rushed on a crowded night.
We have been going to Nino’s since the late 70’s. We live in Savannah now. Any time we are in ATL, we make it a point to dine here. They NEVER let us down! We also just made our twentieth trip to Italy this fall—-Nino’s is like being back there.
Very slow service. Seemed disorganized.
Great food. Reasonable price. Small quant homey environment.
Sever was the older guy. He wasn’t the most attentive to my younger guests.
Very disappointed in our last visit to Nino’s. Despite reservation, was placed in the small room with another party that was very loud. They used two different waiters for this small space. It took an unusual amount of time just to be waited on. When the food came we were very disappointed as well. My veal parmigiana was over cooked and difficult to eat. The eggplant parmigiana was OK but nothing great. Due to the lack of service, we just ate what we could and left as soon as we finally got the check. As a frequent customer, this is not the norm for this restaurant.
One of our favorite restaurants. Good good and service. They usually will make what you want.
The service is always outstanding, as are the authentic Italian dishes. The atmosphere is cozy, and the restaurant has a neighborhood feeling. We frequently choose Nino's for birthdays and anniversaries partly because they go all out to make it a special occasion.
This is my second time here. This time we were in the main dining room. It was quite noisy and hard to hear our dining guests. The server seemed rushed and I felt he was trying to push us out fast. I ordered an appetizer pasta but got the full meal. The salad was over dressed but tasted nice- not worth the 8$ though. The calamari was crisp but little flavor. As it is a favorite of one of our friends I’m sure I’ll be back but not my first choice.
Simply a splendid dinner! From the bread to the Chicken Parmigiana the meal was superb. I ordered the grilled asparagus as a side and it was prepared to perfection; I'm not even a huge asparagus fan. I finished off my experience with the coconut cake and coffee. An all-around excellent dining event!
Nino’s has no attention to detail or concern for the customer
What a delightful night. Celebrated Nino’s 50 year anniversary with superb food, wine and live music great fun!
Good experience.. we eat here often and you get a good meal
Authentic food, wonderful service, cute environment! Was so happy with the restaurant. We felt like we were in Italy!
Our first anniversary. We had our first date here. Special memories. Thank you Ninos!
The restaurant from reservation until we left made the entire experience special to each of the guests. The food was exceptional as well as the service, I would highly recommend Nino's. They can make any of their dishes with gluten free pasta, which one of my guests were over the moon about as her diet requires it. The wine list made those drinking happy and we all walked out remarking how amazing the service was.
Ninos is our favorite place for Italian. Food is amazing especially the lobster fra diavlo. The new cannoli cake is amazing. We always get great service at Ninos.
This is the the second time at Nino's. The staff at Nino's were friendly and attentive. We had a couple drinks and bottles of wine. All good. 2/3 meals were satisfactory, good... not great. The veal chop was under cooked and tough. Maybe bad meal selection on my part. They've been in business for 50 years, so they must be doing something right. Could have caught the kitchen on a slow night.
An amazing dining experience. I've lived here for years.
Took the wife here and it didn't disappoint! Food was delicious and service was excellent! Awesome Italian cuisine; can't go wrong selecting this spot.
The food was absolutely delicious. Our service was top-notch
Food was excellent, dining experience excellent although our waiter seemed less than thrilled be waiting on us....perhaps it was our mispronunciation of the Italian dishes that irked him. Hey, we tried.
We have loved Nino's for a long time, but hadn't been there in years. We were so excited to go back, and it didn't disappoint. The food is amazing, so fresh and delicious. Alessandra and Micah are doing a spectacular job of running the restaurant. We were celebrating a special occasion, and this was the perfect place to do so. It's romantic and lovely, and the service is great. Also, excellent wine choices. I highly recommend Nino's. You will be wanting to go back for more.
have to admit we are regulars. there are several reasons: good hosts; very good food (grouper and chicken parm, mmmmm); and they never disappoint.
Went to Nino's to celebrate a birthday and the food was delightful and the service fantastic. Definitely a good choice for authentic Italian.
background music was quite loud. food and service were great.
Nino's is one of the standards we hope will stick around through the change and growth in town. The food is great, service good, prices reasonable and you can actually hear your companions talk at the table! Our Italian exchange student rated it "like my mom's!".
I loved it. Really enjoyed having my bday dinner here. Staff was very courteous as well
We always enjoy dinner at Ninos. We have taken my parents for their birthdays several times and also our own birthdays or just dinner with friends. The inside seems dark so We always sit on the enclosed patio. It overlooks Cheshire bridge so not scenic but it’s not noticeable. It isn’t air conditioned but there are fans. The food is always good especially the shrimp and pasta and lasagna. You can get half portions of many entrees so it’s a good value. The bread is really good! This is a classic Italian restaurant.
My family and I are on the hunt for classic NY Italian, and this was definitely it. We ordered the Burrata. So soft and moist. Great appetizer. For entrees we had the Veal Romano Was amazing. Very tasty. My husband had an Vodka Sauce Pasta dish - no matter what it was, I was eating off his plate too. The sauce was very good. For dessert we split the Baileys Cheesecake. Very very good. Will definitely be returning!!
Nothing special.
Fantastic Food and service. We went with friends for my wife's 60th birthday dinner. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun. Our waitress was fun and very knowledgeable of both the menu and wine list. I look forward to visiting again!
The staff and the ambience is perfect here. We love going to Nino’s for a great Italian dinner.
This was our first visit after a recommendation from Belinda Skelton.
My husband is from NYC so very picky about Italian restaurants.
We both loved to! They do everything old school and it felt like we had ducked into an Italian restaurant in Manhattan.
You will find no Buckhead glitz, no industrial chic but instead old style dark wood and carpet... waiters who have worked there for years, a dessert cart, quiet ... and food prepared and cooked the same traditional ways.
The food was fantastic!
We had linguini white clam
Eggplant parm
Spaghetti meatballs
Caesar salad
Calamari
Coconut cake
Cannoli cake
Everything was fantastic!
And you can get half portions which allows for trying more things!
Oh yes we’ll be back there soon.
We dined at 5:30 on a Friday night and it was not super busy but by the time we left it was starting to get packed so I would say to make a reservation.
Nino's has a very nice a ambiance with subdued lighting. Parking is more than adequate and the service is friendly. I have been here several times in the past, with a lapse of several years, and see the restaurant as unchanged.
Service was very good waiter very attentive. Grouper was very good but rather small portion. Mussels
were superb. Wine was perfect. Will definitely come back with family.
We loved it. My husband had the lasagna and I had the spaghetti and meatballs. We had the cheesecake for dessert.
Loved it all. Cozy and authentic Italian in the Atlanta area.
Carrot cake was hard as a brick! Been here twice wasn’t impressed either time.
Nino's just celebrated it 50th year in operation, and deservedly so! Consistently authentic Italian, great service, friendly atmosphere. It's not the newest or the sexiest, but it's cozy and never fails to delight.
We’ve visited Ninos and may other Italian restaurants over the years including a few in Italy. I’ve never had a Vitello Saltimboca that was so poorly prepared. Instead of prosciutto being layered atop the veal cutlet, it was tossed on the veal. It was my job in Nino’s subdued lighting to figure out how to position the ham to get the taste I was expecting and used to.
