Went to The Eden Restaurant for our engagement celebration dinner. I discovered that this place was known for it's romantic vibe, so I decided to give it a try.

Immediately upon arrival, we were greeted with two complimentary glasses of wine. We arrived early so we sat at the bar for 20-30 minutes while we waited for our table to be ready. The wine and drink list is quite extensive, so you'll for sure be able to find something you enjoy.

From the moment you walk in, you get a good feeling from the ambiance looking around the restaurant/bar. The lighting and decorations just really sets the mood nicely. Highly recommend for a date, anniversary or other romantic celebration.

As far as the food: we started things off with the grilled Caesar salad and the lobster both were delicious. You could really taste the crab and lobster within the fritters! Next was the main entrée. I went for the tomahawk veal chop, while the lady went for the scallops. Both were very good. I'm more of a filet guy, but had to try the veal chop. I'll be back to try the filet and/or rockfish over winter. We ended things with the crème Brule and key-lime pie; should have just made it two crème Brule's, as that was top notch stuff.

Our server, John, was the man. Asked him for many recommendations, and he was great about them all. Very attentive and on top of things with our table, continuing to check on us periodically.

From the atmosphere and vibe presented, to the food and the friendly staff, I'm very glad to have chosen The Eden Restaurant as my place of celebration post engagement. I'll be back. Thanks for helping make the night a special one to remember.

This was our first time to EDEN. We found that the menu offered a great variety of selections. The entree's we had included the Scallops, Pork Osobucco and the Rib Eye Steak. The Caesar Salad was a little different than the one you would expect but none the less very tasty. The key lime pie was good but more like a key lime cheese cake. Overall, I would recommend EDEN. We will plan to return.

Superb atmosphere, fun/knowledgeable and very accommodating service (Drew and others), and all the food was over the top creative and wonder. Perfect fish preparation and presentation for all dishes was beautiful. While relatively expensive, it was was well worth the money!

We dine at Eden when in Rehoboth. This particular visit also was the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival. Eden has a jazz quintet on the main floor. To me? a bit overwhelming noise level due to the music - it was good but it was very hard to have any level of discussion. That said? Service was very good, food terrific as always and we will return the next beach visit.

I have eaten there three times. The food was great the first two times but I didn't care for my meal the third time. Nothing special and prices are a bit on the high side.My service was better and excellent on my last visit Saturday night with John. My only complaint was I forgot it was jazz week-end and they had a very loud 6 piece bank (the place is too small for music that loud). We couldn't hear a thing and we purposely went at 6PM, believing the jazz wouldn't start until later. As it was it began when we sat down and break only came as we were getting our check. My fault for going on jazz week-end but would suggest a smaller group and at least not start playing until 7 in dining area. Bar area might be better but it is a very small bar.

Our first visit to Eden and will not be our last! We were seated promptly upon arrival during Jazz Fest weekend in Rehoboth. Our server, Sheri Ann was such a pro, being attentive and accommodating all night. The meals were excellent with great flavors. We shared the cheese board and crab with lobster tower apps. I’d recommend both! Amongst us we had outstanding filet mignon, and a superb Osso Bucco.
Looking forward to our next visit to Eden!

First, the ambiance is lovely and something that is missing from many area restaurants. Our server was so pleasant and very helpful with wine selection and food choices. The crab/lobster tower was beyond delicious and great for sharing! Halibut was cooked perfectly with an interesting choice of a light tomato sauce. Scallop, too, were perfect. A great dinner experience!

Eden has been around for quite some time in Rehoboth Beach. Friends have always spoken highly of it. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. The food was okay but given the price it should have been better. If you dine at Eden, I recommend getting the Crab Lobster appetizer and then supplement with a salad.

Very nice upscale dining experience. Appetizer, Ouso Bucco and dessert was superb. Had reservations for 8PM, arrived early, was told 15 minutes, waited 40 minutes, as we were leaving an open table was found. The steak was sent back. Tough and raw. The staff made amends for their errors. Will go again but we will be more aggressive about reservation and wait time

Good server. Nice menu. Ribs had more spice than flavor. Scallops had a nice sear but we're overcooked and chewy and over salted. I can only surmise that microgreens on top were charred by the dish being left under a broiler. Risotto was gummy. The most bizzare was the "panna cotta" made from milk "strained through gluten free Coco puffs". The gelatin content further ruined the dessert. Who puts gluten free Coco puffs scattered on a polished dessert plate?--- it looked like rabbit pellets. Meh....

When full, the restaurant is way too loud. Tonight’s meal was a total bust. None of the 3 in our party enjoyed their selections. Wine I ordered with meal never came. 2 tables of bachelorette celebrants ruined the evening. This was the last of 5 visits to this restaurant.

Eden is one of the most reliable restaurants in Rehoboth Beach. In more than 20 visits over the year, they have been consistently very good or excellent. The ambience is excellent, the seafood is superb, the wine list is very good, the service is usually top notch, and the desserts are outstanding.

Wednesday Night Off!
Eden is one of our - perhaps most - favorite restaurants in town. We went with family at 6 pm on Wednesday, September 5, 2018. The service was excellent, but the food was unfortunately not the best that night. Chef's night off perhaps? Anyway the corn and crab fritters had been fried too long and had an unpleasant taste. The rockfish was also over-cooked and not good. Finally, the "margarita pie" was just the key lime pie off the regular menu and was nothing special. All in all, a disappointing meal at an otherwise fine restaurant.

The menu was very good - the dishes were interesting even if a bit too intent on multiple flavors. The service was acceptable. Our server was somewhat condescending, which is a joke in a beach town populated by East Coast vacationers. The restaurant was not the least bit interested in trying to accommodate our request for a different table. But if your main interest is the food, Eden is probably worth a visit.

First to start i picked this restaurant because reviews say its the most romantic and from the pictures i saw it did look romantic and nice, it was my girlfriends birthday wanted to impress her with the atmosphere alone, well that changed soon as we started walking through the restaurant only the booth tables appeared to be a little romantic but not really and there weren't very many at all, so they skipped all the booth tables and the whole nicer looking downstairs all together and took me to upstairs hell the table was by the window not bad looking out at the town but right next to a big Greek family that was very drunk loud and obnoxious . table was a hard circle outdoor table hurts forearms when rested upon to long, food definitely over priced for the quality this restaurant is definitely MISLEADING AND DEF NOT THE MOST ROMANTIC AT ALL IF YOUR LOOKING FOR ROMANTIC DEF DINT GO HERE SERIOUSLY A LET DOWN AND THIS IS THE FIRST BAD REVIEW I HAVE EVER DONE IN 26 YEARS JUST VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE ATMOSPHERE! NEVER GOING BACK HEIRLOOM IN LEWES IS MORE ROMANTIC AND SAME MENU BUT BETTER!

Tomahawk veal chop was superb! Crab and watermelon salad delicious and refreshing but sparse on crabmeat. Service uneven, drinks came after appetizers and our entrée arrived before we ordered wine, yet server checked on us frequently. Romantic atmosphere, server noted our anniversary but provided nothing special. Good value for money.
