Baby shower
A lovely brunch experience! Delicious food and exceptional service. Our main server, Timothy went above and beyond to deliver excellent service. Atlanta's best kept secret. Highly recommended~
Astor Court was a lovely place to go for afternoon tea. Service was outstanding! We were taken care of beautifully by various members of the staff. I was surprised that the primary waiter goes through and explains what afternoon tea is and how it relates to Lady Astor. While it was our first time at Astor Court, it was definitely not our first or even twentieth time for tea. The Lady Astor part was entertaining.
With our tea (I had the Mad Hatter tea which was divine) they brought pumpkin scones. Clotted creme and orange marmalade are the perfect complement to pumpkin scones and you must try it! Shortly after we finished our scones, a three tiered tray of beautiful finger sandwiches and elegant desserts appeared. Everything was delicious! I had left a message on Open Table that I have a fish allergy and I cannot eat Turmeric due to a medication interaction. Astor Court respected my limitations and actually mixed one of the sandwich fillings specifically for me so that it had no Turmeric.
Half of the fun was people watching. There was a large party there for a baby shower. There was another group in to celebrate a birthday, and other groups of 2 to 4 people scattered around the tea room. We were positioned across from the exquisite chandelier over the lobby; therefore, we could not only see everyone in the tea room but also all of the hotel guests as they passed through the lobby including an enchanting bridal party.
If you enjoy getting dressed up, going to afternoon tea and being pampered by the tea room staff, you will love Astor Court at The St. Regis in Buckhead!
Horrible service and horrible food. Nothing good to say about this place. We did not even have a waiter.
Had a wonderful and relaxing tea with friends. One friend had recently married and the other one dealing with loss of mother. Great atmosphere to just “be” while enjoying good food and tea. I wanted them both to just escape to a place of beauty and class. Mission accomplished! Our server Ash was wonderful and added to our enjoyment! Kudos!!!
We had a fab time!!! We went for tea time and the experience was everything!!! The food was great!!!! Our server was awesome!!!
This was one of the best experiences I've had since moving to Atlanta. I visited for my Mother-in-Laws birthday and it was perfect. She enjoyed every bit of the experience. Ash, the gentleman who took care us, was the best. His knowledge of the history and customer service was impeccable. We loved him. Cant wait to do this again.
Service and attentiveness could be improved. We arrived promptly for our reservation, but did not see our waiter for more than 10 minutes. We were served scones and tea first. However, much time had passed and no one seemed to notice that we were finished and waiting our "tea sandwiches" and dessert. This necessitated flagging someone down to request our food. Then we had to flag someone down to 'refill" teapot. It took forever to steep. During our entire meal, no one ever came and asked how we were doing or if we needed anything.
This was supposed to be a 'special occasion' but did not feel like it.
While I am very open to people of all ethnic groups, both my daughter and I had difficulty understanding our male waiter from "India". His speech and enunciation was not clear to us and we tired of asking him to repeat what he said.
Took my Grandma to afternoon tea for her 80th birthday along with her 89 year old sister, my aunt and my best friend. The ambience at the St. Regis is gorgeous and the tea/scones/tower were all good. We would have liked more check ins from the wait staff. We sat for a good while before anyone brought out the tea selection, and we didn’t receive our tower of treats until over an hour in. Waiters were nice, just would have liked to see more of them. The price ($55/person) was a bit hard for me to swallow but one’s Grandma only turns 80 once! I did appreciate the special birthday macaroons they brought out for my Grandma with a candle. She was very happy.
They are doing remodeling. Didn’t care for it
My nieces were visiting from out-of-town, and I wanted to make their last day in Atlanta special, and Astor Court did not disappoint. The entire experience was amazing, from our greeting upon entering the restaurant to the service throughout. Each of the girls ( ages 13 and 16) said separately that Afternoon Tea was the best part of their trip, so I am thrilled. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.
Lovely afternoon tea! Great food and service with a lovely history lesson
All the savory food was delicious. The Creme brûlée was clumpy and watery. The scone, the cake, and the beignets were all dry almost to the point of being inedible. The beignets were almost difficult to cut with a knife. We were very excited after eating the sandwiches and then got to desert and it was not the caliber we expected.
Excellent service outstanding we really enjoyed breakfast
Absolute elegance for a special occasion. Astor Court is one of the few places where you can enjoy a traditional afternoon tea experience. The service is outstanding, and the food is delectable – not to mention, the selection of teas is impressive.
Highly recommended.
Astor Court is an opulent dining experience. As usual I met with a friend for afternoon tea and the service was impeccable. I would recommend to anyone who prefers to be pampered and showered with excellence.
Beautiful restaurant with delicious afternoon tea!
Astor Court made having tea a delight, I am so sad that we didn't try Astor Court years ago. The theme was Peaches for this month, I can say that it did not disappoint.
Go for the elegant location, stay for the tea, fall in love with dining as if you were in another era. Leaving the hotel and going back out into the typical made me a little sad.
Slightly robotic afternoon tea speech. And verbatim to menu. But lovely tea and great service.
Did High tea for my birthday with my mother, grandmother and my Aunt who was in town visiting. They were all blown away. The service was impeccable and they even did a little dessert plate after for my bday. Food and tea was delicious. The four of us could not finish everything. They will box it up for you to take home.
The service and food were fantastic! They made our bday celebration extra special. Highly recommend!
It was wonderful! The tea was delicious and the service was very attentive
It was our anniversary and they gave us a congratulations brownie. It was very nice.
We were there for high tea with a party of 12. The wait staff were really friendly but the service was really slow. The food selection was not worth the amount we paid. 55$ a person for mediocre sandwiches that looks and taste like it was bought from costco. Definitely not like the high tea in NYC. Glad we tried but definitely would not be coming back.
The St Regis Hotel is a gorgeous property and one of the nicest in Atlanta. It is also pretty much the only one that still offers high tea in the Astor Court on weekends. I have been to tea there multiple times, but the quality has definitely slipped of late. The tea selection itself is wonderful, but the food offered was mediocre at best. It seemed like some cold things should have been hot, and depth of flavor was lacking in much of what was offered. I think with the money and resources available to the hotel, everything should be perfect, especially considering the cost. Great examples of this can be had at The Plaza Hotel in NYC or at pretty much any Fairmont property that offers tea. I hope they can step it up as tea can be such a wonderful experience when it is done well.
Very overrated for ordinary brunch options. I struggled to see the wow factor.
We had Afternoon Tea. The service was outstanding and so was the food. I absolutely recommend The Ascot Court at The St.Regis Hotel.
The afternoon tea was a total disappointment. The server was very knowledgeable about the history of the afternoon tea. However she never came back again and checked to see if we need more water. The only thing that edible was the scones which was very good. All the sandwiches and pastry can get them form third rated bakery. The bread they used to make the sandwiches were dried up. The dessert were not memorable. It's like the buffet dessert. With the money they charge for each person, totally not worth it. Do not waste your money.
My best girlfriend and I met for the High Tea. When you pull up to St. Regis, you have the ability to valet park for $2, if validated. I chose to park in the parking deck for free. If you’re driving your wreck of a car that day, you may want to do the parking deck. The inside of the St. Regis is gorgeous! The area where the High Tea takes place is right up the stairs at Astor Court. The service was great. My friend was extremely late. The waiter didn’t make me feel uncomfortable and they allowed me to wait for her until I couldn’t take it anymore and ordered my tea. The tea was delicious. I tried two, one I was familiar with and it was my favorite and one Tea I have not heard of before. Both were delicious. I ordered the gluten free service. It was very good. I didn’t like the chocolate pudding. Other than that, very good. I wasn’t able to try the regular service but my friend said it was very good. Will definitely come again to experience the High Tea.
At high tea, the scones and quiche were cold and too dry as opposed to being freshly prepared and warm out of the oven.
Made a reservation for a party of 6 but when we arrive at 2:25pm they said they were closed. The information on Yelp said they are open until 10pm. At least give prior notice if your closure is different from what is stated. They just seem like don't want to serve us. They relocated us to a bar area but service was slow. We ordered some iced cappuccino but they were really watered down. And a cup of regular coffee is tasteless.... Very disappointed in this place!
Loved meeting more of the team today! We were assisted by Ash for our party of 5. He did a great job and we felt quite at home. This was our second week in a row and I think we could have easily stayed for dinner as well because we had such a great time. The experience left us so overjoyed we immediately began planning our next visit. I'm just so grateful this particular tea exists!!
After a full weekend following the Royal Wedding in Windsor and satellite parties here in the states I was thrilled to know that my favourite place in Atlanta was also honouring the family. The food was delicious. We were treated with so much respect and kindness. Harry and team did an excellent job and we look forward to more tea there. Thank you for providing this opportunity.
However, it's extremely hard to leave. Please consider offering an extended tea service that allows us to pay extra and stay on site for refills or whatever. A double tea? So untraditional perhaps. We come to the St. Regis to escape. Lol. We don't want to go back into the world once there. I suppose we should call a real estate agent and buy there. :)
Thanks again for having us!
What a wonderful time. The women in my family gathered together for a ladies tea. It was splendid! The ambiance is incredible and the tea and food was delicious. It was truly a lovely and special experience.
Ash was an outstanding waiter !!!! We love st Regis
Excellent food
Good service
Great brunch
lovely formal tea with delicious food and excellent assortment of teas. our servers Harry and Davidson (?) were outstanding. Be prepared for high price pp for wine or cocktail, and for extra charge by valet for free parking if you dont ask for car by 5p (we got there at 505 and were charged). also check online if menu/price changes after you book; I had reserved for 3 of us over Royal Wedding weekend and was not notified of increased price/menu shift; I happened to see it in the paper (we cancelled, bec. of cost/meny items/no notice). Otherwise a lovely leisurely experience in the old style of high tea.
They were short-staffed when I was there and we did not get our food and tea until an hour and a half later.
lovely place to spend time with a friend. We went there for afternoon tea. Ash, our attendant, was very knowledgeable about the history of afternoon tea and our selections. We did not feel rushed and were not unnecessarily interrupted. Would definitely go again.
We went for afternoon tea to celebrate my friend’s birthday. It was a great experience! We were told the history of afternoon tea and of the St. Regis, and twelve different types of teas were presented to us. The afternoon tea menu changes monthly, and the staff were extremely accommodating to our dietary restrictions (gluten-free and vegetarian). I highly recommend it for those looking for a quiet, calming place to celebrate a special occasion.
