My friend came to visit from London and loved it. He has traveled all over the world and he was impressed by the decor and service of this place. In fact he wants to rebook a reservation for today.

Wonderful as always. We sat by the bar, which was a little loudWe than . But otherwise everything as perfect.

Aways great and this time was no exception! The food ...specially the truffle risotto was amazing and the service as well!

Nice overall dining experience. The Tiramisu was the best I have had in a very long time! Great menu options, great service, and a quiet cozy dining experience for date nights, business or special occasions!

Fabulous in every meaning of the word, food, wine service you name it. We were regulars at the other LaGrotta at perimeter mall, this , the original one, is better. Reservations are a must.

What a gem! Whether in NYC, Miami, Los Angeles or Vegas...La Grotta is the best Italian. Very fresh ingredients. Skillfully prepared and presented. The service is one of the most professional I’ve experienced. True pros! Beautiful interior and outside patio dining as well. I can’t say enough. I took my wife and parents here for her birthday. Everyone was extremely impressed. One last thing...for what you get in terms of food and service, this place is a bargain!

First time at LaGrotta. It was highly recommended by friends and we loved it! Excellent service, outstanding food and nice patio seating. We are planning another evening back beginning of November. Special thanks to everyone who went out of their way to make our experience wonderful.

Once we were seated the event was wonderful. Great ambiance. Absolutely outstanding wait staff. Asked for and received variances from the menu to accommodate food interests. Whenever I am in Buckhead again this will be my first choice for Italian food.

Unchanging excellence. We had not gone to La Grotta in 15 years, but it was as if it was yesterday. It was excellent then, and excellent now. The perfect combination of warmth, service, flawlessly executed. From the moment you arrive and are greeted at the door you are cared for but never rushed or pressured.

LOVE this place. The first time I had gone here, I was taken by a friend whose grandparents used to frequent the restaurant for date nights. I figured they must be doing something right to be open for 40 years! I have lived less than 2 miles away for 10 years and had no idea it was even there. Tucked away in a dated condo building, I always feel like I'm party of a secret, exclusive club when I go. Everything is always amazing from the food to the ambiance to the tenured servers (most of whom have worked there since I was a toddler). Besides the delicious menu offerings, they will also offer to cook you anything off-menu that you may want. Of course my husband had to test this by ordering carbonara -which, of course, was also amazing. Lastly, don't miss the extensive wine list. They have some great Italian offerings across many price points! Best little hidden gem in Atlanta!

Did you ever play the telephone game? You know how messages are lost in translation as they are passed down the line. We had 4 different people service our table. Seemed extreme. With nobody accountable it makes it easy for mistakes and bad service to slip by. Food was good.

While everything was great, I do not recommend a side-by side sitting table if on a date. Sitting across from your date is far better for conversation.

Food was great. Service was good. Best waiters in the business, but lead waiter did not bring his "A" game for us and I was a touch disappointed. And it was loud as Hell in there.

what a pleasant evening! it had been over 20 years since we had dined here. While back in town my wife thought it would be cool to have dinner there again. We just happened to be there the night after their 40th anniversary of the restaurant. There was still a buzz in the air regarding the night before. The service was great and the food was delicious. Maybe it will not be over 20 years before we return to La Grotta.

La Grotta is remarkably consistent. Love the old school classic vibe. Service is always spot on - nowhere in atlanta delivers drinks faster than this place. Food is very consistent if not outstanding (but very good). Love the location - very convenient. One of my favorite spots in the city.

My husband order an app but got it in a dinner size. The waiter should have explained the beef was literally paper thin with paper thin cheese and mushrooms on top. It is not suitable for a meal. It was also $50.00.

In a totally non-descript place, and when you get off of the elevator, it is like a secret cave that greets you. The all male wait staff are professional and attentive with no lapses in service quality. Our dinner was a assortment of pastas and a veal chop....cooked to perfection and the closest thing to Italy we have had since we have been back. The blue blood of Atlanta eat here, many with nearly unreasonable requests and expectations, yet, they keep coming back. What else can I say?
