Amazing Saturday brunch. Really interesting combination of foodie flavors from a range of sweet to savory. The menu online (a day before) did not reflect what was offered, but it did not disappoint. All you can eat, buffet style. Many small children dining but you wouldn't have known it from the sound... all were busy enjoying their eggs and french toast! Occasionally, chilly when someone would enter off the patio. Where a warmer top or take a wrap or drink up on the bottomless coffee.
Best brunch in Atlanta!
It was our mom's birthday and they treated us special...it was a great brunch and the food was awesome, the value was excellent and our server (crap! I forgot her name!) was wonderful! I would recommend this place to anyone.
Great food. Ok service - our server forgot to bring my husband’s cocktail and only checked on us a couple times. But the scallops and oysters were so delicious!!
Restaurant was very attractive and food was delicious. It is classy, but comfortable. Nice ambiance. Bar is a focal point. Nice private room for a small group. A little hard to find, but worth it. The pot pie, shrimp small plate and ramen were very delicious. Nice house red wine!
Was fine! Keep returning out of location convenience, but price point and service level are mismatched on more visits than not. I appreciate the fun and humorous atmosphere, but once a server needs to be flagged down, repeating it twice more makes it feel like any ol’ chain.
We celebrated a birthday during our trip to Local Three. The service was great, although the server was new, she did an excellent job. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, was that she was new and didn't know the menu as well as we had liked. Also, she boxed up what we were unable to eat and forgot to bring it back to our table, so when we got to the car we remembered that we forgot our leftovers. We didn't go back in for it, either.
With all of that said, the food was delicious. I had the chicken pot pie and he had the "Wellington", which was delicious, but quite on the rare side and the server didn't ask how we wanted it cooked, which would have been a better idea. The cheese tray was great, but the cheeses were very smelly. I love this restaurant and will defintely return, but I only gave 4 stars for this trip.
We were celebrating a birthday. Our server brought a yummy special birthday dessert with lit candles. A very nice touch!
I wanted to love this place but just cannot overlook the bad. First we were given the a table next to the kitchen door in an relatively empty dining room. Service was good not great. Pricey east coast oysters were not properly shucked and most were pretty beat up like what you would expect from a low-end seafood place. Tuna first plate was the stand out of our meal. Crispy chickpeas were a great contrast in texture. Shrimp and grits were a complete miss however. Uninspiring in flavor or seasoning, the whole dish was spread out in a thin layer onto a large plate for some sort of dramatic display, but all this accomplished for the food was to cool it down rapidly so that it was completely room temperature by the time it was delivered. The server offered a replacement and were given some variation of a shrimp wonton that was equally as forgettable. We also had the burger at the suggestion of our server and it was good but nothing about it made us want to come back and try it again. Overall a bad experience that was close to 200 dollars for the two of us. We wouldn’t try hem again.
One of the best brunches in the city! Loved the wide variety of delicious dishes!
Great food and ambiance. Wonderful service. Delicious cheese plate and delicious everything
We love to come here for brunch on the weekends. We hadn’t been through in a while. Most of the waitstaff are new from what I could see. It started out going south straight from the start. We got seated and a noticed over my wife’s shoulder two of the waitstaff chatting away with each other for a few minutes. Come to find out one of them was our waitress. We were right in front of them and she saw us get seated. Why she wouldn’t come great us right away was beyond me. From there on out her service was very slow. This is the first time this has ever happens. I could go on but I won’t
We were seated promptly, and our waiter was very attentive, but it took almost an hour For food, and nothing was that spectacular.
Local 3 is amazing! The food was wonderful, the service was great and the interior design in the dining room is very cool. Great for both a special occasion and casual dinner.
Great food and environment. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful!
Brunch was great. Wished they had bottomless mimosas though 😬
Great service and treated us to some specialities because we were celebrating an anniversary. Chloe was fantastic! Food was exceptional!
Chris, Todd and Ryan never disappoint! Great spot for a drink, date or hooking up with friends.
Great drinks by professional bartenders who know and have perfected their craft.
Small sharing plates that are imaginative and typically have a southern spin!
Entrees change quite often and are always worth a try.
The staff was friendly and all needs were met very quickly. Enjoyable and unique breakfast experience with the hubby.
Great business lunch location.
Way too loud for an intimate occasion. The sound carried and tables are tight. My wife’ s meal (chicken pot pie) was bland and need additional salt. My scallops were good but were way overpriced at $35 , when basically it was 4 scallops and a salad. Dessert for both of us was non- memorable. I had the Nutella Banana Panini. Something I could easily have made at home with a jar of Nutella, a banana and a waffle. The bright spot was the server who was attentive and courteous.
Very fun environment for a Sunday brunch. Great atmosphere and great cocktail list for dinner.
I've dined at Local Three several times for lunch and dinner, but never before for Sunday brunch - it was great!
We love Local Three for a night out. We like that the menu rotates seasonally/monthly. They have a fun menu and atmosphere.
I paid $23 for pesto and potatoes. Food was great but overpriced for what it was.
excellent choice! great food and we had the patio to ourselves. will definitely be back.
All you can eat brunch with a buffet style line that goes through the kitchen. Great food and service was awesome.
The women's bathroom was trashed. Had to step over the wall mounted trash can that had obviously fallen off the wall and the bathroom was obviously not well maintained. Only complaint of the outing.
Our server was outstanding and food was very good.
We were promptly seated for our 1:45pm reservation. Very good service and ambiance for my husband, 12 year old daughter and me. On the other hand we were very disappointed in the brunch buffet food options for the price. The buffet was loaded with carbs and not at all enough protein or veggies. So a lot of breads, pasta, rice and cheese going on. The only veggie was a salad of which my daughter would not eat so she was left with no veggie to accompany her meal. Meats were bacon and a ham and cheese sandwich.
We had a delicious meal with a great atmosphere! Laid back but quality food and service.
Lovely evening!
Great food - wonderful service - nice atmosphere.
Service was slow and inattentive, the food is ok but not a good value. Oysters were the smallest I have ever been served, and $3 a pop. Nowhere near the quality I was expecting.
Outstanding! Fantastic service and food! We went to finally try their famous bufffet and were surprised that you pick up your food in the kitchen. That is awesome! It feels like you are an intimate special guest of theirs who is invited to the kitchen. I loved it! And you can chat with the cooks who are preparing the foods. Highly recommend this restaurant for dinner, lunch, happy hour and specially brunch!
Genius implementation of an all you can eat brunch capturing southern cuisine in an upscale setting at an affordable price.
LOVED IT! I had heard about Local Three and of course being a FOODIE it was a MUST. It is such a cool place but their unique take on the buffet for BRUNCH was amazing. We loved everything. The french toast, shrimp and grits and the pulled pork with THAT COLE SLAW was TOPS!!! Those POTATOES👏🏾
Definitely on my REGULAR list❤️❤️
I really believe Local Three was on top of the pile as a destination location. It has slipped dramatically, last Friday night a group of four at 7:30pm dined and the Restaurant was empty. The food was adequate. I ordered a Chicken Pot Pie for~$26 and it was a pot filled with Chicken stew and some corn muffins on top.
Local Three you had better wake up! You have a lot of competition!!
Former Loyal Diner
Food was AMAZING! We loved the style of brunch service.
Food and service good but the kitchen had a 35 minute lead time. Kinda ridiculous.
Pros: food is delicious, the brunch is a wonderful experience. Wine and port selection is very nice.
Cons: very noisy, can barely hear your own party or the server unless they raise their voice. Tables are very close together, kind of a crammed in feel.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Food was very good not your traditional Buffet
