Local Three

We loved loved LOVED this restaurant! The ambience is interesting and comfortable. Our server was excellent - went through the menu and hit several highlights. The food was extremely good. It’s been a while since we enjoyed a restaurant to the point where we said, We’ll be back.” But we are already scheduled to go back. Well done, Local Three!!

Food was decent, but not great. Service was just ok: nice waiter, but not really sure what he was doing. We got our apps at the same time as our entrees; when we asked why, he seemed surprised and said he didn't realize we wanted the appetizers first.

Food is way over priced and of fair quality ($45 for a 6 oz filet with a side of VERY bitter rocket greens...ugh), menu is weird (odd combination of choices and tastes) and service was poor (the server could not have been less interested or less helpful). The atmosphere is odd for anything but a mid-week business lunch; its in a high end office building, with mid-tier food, in a quiet part of town. This last part we we knew, but the rest of it we hoped had changed. Third time now — so shame on us at this point for thinking the experience would be different. Better to wait at Houston’s vs. reservation here...

I really wanted to like Local Three but it just seemed like a generic "hip" restaurant. The bourbon list was mostly sourced juice or stuff that is easy to find. The avocado toast was drenched in butter, overwhelming the flavor of the avocado and crab. The lobster roll was filled with chunks of what seemed to be langostino, a tub of mayo, and a handful of celery salt.

In the end, I wound up wishing they would have focused less on being cute with the movie references in the menu and more on preparing good food.

Love supporting this local restaurant. Be prepared for the noise level to impede conversation at times. That said, everyone is having a good time in this great place - the conversation is lively. The waitstaff is friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. My only feedback is there are not good options for someone who is a little more health conscious in their cuisine. This hasn't always been the case here. The chief was willing to leave a butter sauce off of the fish my associate ordered and substitute a salad for the succotash.

Good food, great whiskies!

Service and ambience were fine, but my food was awful. I ordered the Angus Skirt Steak Asada, and the steak was tough and fatty and the rice and beans were dried up and clumpy. They brought the tortillas out in foil, but I’m not sure why, because they were not warm at all. I won’t be back.

While it is hard to find the restaurant in a highrise office park which is off the beaten path. The decor of the establishment is appealing. The Charcuterie and Fromage boards were spot on. Although, each were in need of additional accoutrements. Main course menu items were less creative than expected for such a marketed clientele. Service was good and the rather large and unexpected whiskey menu was a nice surprise to see. 7.5/10

Business lunch

A vendor that we use wanted to take us to dinner and was having a difficult time getting a reservation at another restaurant. I suggested Local Three and found a reservation for 5 at the the time we wanted. Great food and drink. Everyone was very happy.

Always great service, wonderful food and overall excellent experience! Made our Valentines Day extra special.

The buffet-style was a surprise, but it was fun! The staff was super helpful and friendly. The food was so good! We'll definitely be back.

Took my boyfriend there for his birthday brunch. He’s a whiskey guy so he LOVED it. Our server Jess was amazing.

It was a horrible experience and I was embarrassed to have taken out of town guest there- it would make me think twice before rebooking or having a business event there again. We waited 45 minutes with our reservation. They also had a big sign at the check in area saying how they were transitioning to a better system then open table which I felt was tacky.

A strange and limited menu. Very southern. If you are into local produce this might be the place for you. Noisy atmosphere.

What a great representation of the Atlanta food scene. The selection of beverage - amazing. The food - wow. My favorite ATL dining spot.

Weekend brunch is fantastic. I don't like buffets because of the food-safety sketchiness and children that touch everything BUT- this is the one exception for me. Local three brunch is an all-you-can-eat where you get to go through the kitchen and select what you like from their offerings of the day. The food is always VERY fresh, constantly maintained/eyed by the chefs (right behind the counter), and I have never seen a child go through the line alone; the health and food safety side of me rejoices here. I can confinently eat anything here based off of the signage, the staff availability and the quality of the food and service. This visit I came with a friend who has severe tree nut allergies- not something that I would normally suggest for a buffet... however, the chefs were available for any and all questions and made sure that the ingredients were double checked and that nothing had been cross-contaminated. My friend had an amazing time and is excited to go back! Local Three is one of my favorite spots in Atlanta and always leaves me feeling valued, happy, and very full.

We loved the ambiance of this little restaurant in BH! Our server was just wonderful! My Manhattan was delicious! My food was good but not great! I had rib-meat and it was a bit overcooked. We will come back and see if we can find something on the menu we like as well as the restaurant! :)

I find the food mediocre overall. To many weird combos, too much kale. Too noisy. Good drinks.

Local three has a great menu, great food and awesome cocktails. I got the braised short rib and it was so tender and flavorful. I’ve also had the McDowell and chicken which were also perfection.

Great place for brunch and reasonably priced with complementary parking

Made a reservation but did not have a table ready for us . Then offered to seat us at the bar or community table.

Brunch was amazing. I would call it "small bites buffet style." Great cocktails too.

Selection of brunch items and quality were really very good. Everything on the menu is available. The food is served in their kitchen and you can go back as many times as you like. Service could not have been better. Plan to camp out for a while since you'll want to taste everything on the menu.

We went for a girls brunch (none of us had been there for this particular meal) and were so pleasantly surprised by the 'all you can eat' concept & their offering. It was such a different dining experience and really allowed you to sample a variety of delicious brunch foods! We've already made plans to go back!

Service was top notch! Went for my husbands birthday. Food was delicious! Will definitely go again and recommend to others. Must try oysters and truffle Parm popcorn!

Local Three is my favorite brunch spot. I really wanted to try the collards and fingerlings; however, am not a meat eater and the amount of pork was overwhelming.
