Aldo's

This was a great experience truly a 5 star restaurant. The service from the front door to the wait staff was just outstanding. The food was fresh and tasty. Hot and satisfying to the taste buds.
Aldos never disappoints and always delivers a memorable meal. Service is outstanding and well paced, never intrusive and friendly. Like valet parking availability. Bronzini fish perfect!
What a wonderful experience! We entertained in-the-know, New York clients. We were warmly received and promptly shown to a lovely 4 top in a cozy side room. We experienced impeccable service and outstanding food. Everyone loved what they ordered. Serious diners need to rediscover the gems in Little Italy where Aldo's is the best, in my opinion.
Great atmosphere with an experienced staff and excellent food. Would recommend to any of my friends and family visiting Baltimore.
A very nice menu that is always delicious
My favorite dining place for authentic Italian cuisine is, most definitely, Aldo's in Little Italy. Each course is prepared with emphasis on the freshest available ingredients and excellent presentation by professional and friendly staff.
Wonderful food and amazing service. I’d highly recommend!
We had made the reservation initially for four, but added three more to our party. We called the restaurant the night before and they accomodated us, and the Bronzino was perfect for my Mom who keeps Kosher. Aldo's never disappoints, and the Pappaadele with the wild boar ragu is a masterpiece. Nice job all around
Best restaurant in Baltimore by far!! Never disappoints!! Amazing food and staff!! Always a treat to go to Aldos will be back next week. Thank you for a wonderful meal and evening!!
The best bolognese I have ever had! Every dish was wonderful and the service was perfect. There when you needed them but not hovering. I don't know why it wasn't busier. Can't wait ti go back!
Been coming here almost 12 years!! Never get tired of the authentic Italian meal. The food is 5 Star...the service is 5 Star. If you want to impress this is the place
We love Aldos! It's our anniversary spot- have gone every year for the past 6 years and it's always PERFECT!
Overpriced and the food was not prepared well. This restaurant is no longer run well. The wait staff are undertrained
Have been going to Aldo's since 1999. Sergio and his staff does a wonderful job in making everything perfect. Food, service and atmosphere! Highly recommend to anyone that is looking for fine Italian food in Baltimore.
Homemade pasta exceptional
Calamari really good light
Food was unremarkable and a bit bland
Expected much more
I’ve eaten here many times. Saturday night was disappointing. First, it took almost ten minutes for the valet to show up; before my date could say she had to get a bag out of the back seat, he drove off. The saltimbocca was Ok; the sauce was mediocre and the meat was mushy. The veal francese- was the same. The server was pleasant but seemed a bit uncomfortable. I’ll eat there again at some point, but this used to be a favorite of mine - but a disappointing night.
My only wish was for there to have been something served with the fish of the day. It looked bare/ a small vegetable maybe would be good
I knew there was a reason why we've always avoided Little Italy restaurants. I was lax getting a reservation for our anniversary where I wanted to go, so ended up here. Such a disappointment. It was our anniversary, which I noted on our reservation. They never acknowledged it. No other decent restaurant would ever make that error.
I ordered a beet salad, and the special wild boar pasta. My wife the escargot and the special bronzino. My salad didn't taste all that fresh, and there was almost no dressing, leaving the salad nearly tasteless. My pasta was over cooked and the wild boar over salted. My wife's escargot in puff pastry was lemony instead of garlicy, and the over sauced plate turned the pastry into a soggy mess. Her bronzino was quite good.
The mocha profiterole was good, but my cappuccino was watery. Our server forgot both my wife's prosecco and my sambucco.
My $17.50 cocktail would have been $12 anywhere else. All the entree pricing was $10 higher than it would have been anywhere else, and with better food. The service was fine.
Wines by the glass are a joke. Two whites, one rose, three reds, all of them mediocre at best.
There is just no reason to dine at Aldo's. You can get much better food at more reasonable prices almost anywhere else.
Great service and the food was terrific
Excellent food, and we felt no rush even as the dining room filled with the later reservations.
So, I was really disappointed. Made reservations for 6 4 days in advance. For 8 pm. Showed up on time at 7:55, we had to wait a whole HOUR before we sat down. Very disappointed. The bartender gave two of us a free drink. I feel like they should have done more by making us wait an hour for a reservation. They obviously over committed.
Please don’t over commit. You do that you lose the reason we love this place. Just charge more and take less people.
Wonderful evening.
One complaint: The young man who cleared our table stacked the dishes on the table as he cleared them. He did that after each course. That really is inexcusable in your environment and at your price points.
Excellent experience for a birthday dinner. We had early evening reservations and were seated right away. The dining room got a little loud as we were finishing up but that is because every table was occupied. Would certainly do again.
The appetizer, cocktails, and dinner was very good but the tiramisu was outstanding! Seriously make your dinner choices around your dessert! They really made our anniversary special. Thank you
The food was quite good, but overpriced compared to other options in little Italy, and the wine and cocktail prices were extremely high with no bottle under $55, most around $90- hundreds, and a glass of house wine $14. Would not go back. Again, too many other good choices with fair pricing.
Took my wife for our third anniversary on a recommendation from my brother in law. Delicious food and good service, real Italian food. well worth the price
I originally went here to have a romantic dinner with my boyfriend
But he proposed to me during dinner 😍 We are now ENGAGED
The staff gave us a special cocktail on the House 🙌🏽 This restaurant is AMAZING 😉
32nd Wedding Anniversary
Old school Italian in every way. Loved it.
A fine dining experience without pretense, with warm and friendly service and terrific ambience. We have been before, and plan to be there again!
Awesome experience! We travelled to Baltimore for our anniversary and selected Aldo’s to celebrate. They did not disappoint! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Additionally, my husband misplaced his cell phone and Margaret worked with us and the cab company to get the phone returned. Thank you Margaret!
Mediocre food in an uninspiring ambiance.
It was quiet on a Monday night for a family birthday. Our server wasn't that professional for this level of restaurant. It was very noisy in the side area of the restaurant where we were seated. The food was very good as usual especially the pasta which is wonderful. They were also generous with a birthday dessert. What's apparent is that this restaurant is showing its age and isn't up to standards for an elegant restaurant. The bathroom is really in need of improvement. It is shabby.
Food was fantastic atmosphere was great but definitely go back again not a place for children
The food was delightful and the service was extraordinary(:
Best Italian food ever-great waiter wonderful menu
Fantastic food -- just a great experience. Authentic Italian food
Outstanding dinner at Aldo’s, had the farm to table menu, what a bargain! Flash fired Eggplant, Catfish in White wine and tomatoes, warm apple tart!
Loved everything!
Unbelievably great! Lobster risotto is THE Best!
