Clyde's Willow Creek Farm
We went there today for Sunday brunch. As always, we were not disappointed. The food is really delicious; very fresh and well prepared. The service was outstanding. We love to go to Clyde’s for brunch. Makes Sunday that much more special.
Everything was great including recognizing my nieces birthday. I thought the food was a bit pricey.
We arrived at 6:58pm for a 7pm reservation. We were seated immediately. Very impressive.
We dined in the Carriage Room adjacent to the bar. The acoustics of the room made hearing difficult. If you would like quiet conversation ask to be seated elsewhere.
The service was very attentive and prompt. Plenty of kudus and no complaints.
The food was good. The dishes we ordered were common. The ingredients were fresh.
Overall, a fine experience.
My go to place for meetings whether it be for business or with friends!
Had family visiting from out of town and decided to head to Clyde’s for dinner. Shared the hummus and crab dip appetizers. Hummus was so fresh and seasoned wonderfully. The crab dip was awesome! We all put hummus on our bread or pita and then added the crab dip. Awesome combination! Main courses were filet mignon with the zucchini/squash side. Delicious! Trout Parmesan was big portion and delicious! Baked shrimp scampi was a hit! Alaskan salmon was tender and amazing. Can you tell we enjoyed this?? Lol. We did shared desserts...the blueberry basil pie and the peach cobbler, both with ice cream. The flavors were amazing. The only criticism was too much crust. The pie was artisan style rather than traditional crust and the cobbler had heavy crust rather than just baked crumb topping. But that didn’t stop us from enjoying them! Everyone had a wonderful time. Our server, Sheryl, was awesome! She saw we weren’t in a rush and paced us very well. This is why we love Clyde’s!’
I have already sent in my review about our evening. But I want our waiter GREG to be congratulated on his superior service that he gave to me and my wife on our 61st Wedding anniversary.I spoke of him in the review very highly
Great venue. Good Food. Good Price. Great Service. I would highly recommend for any event.
We love the ambiance at Clyde's willow Creek Farm. Even though it seats many people, the divided rooms give a feel of intimacy. The food was delicious and wait staff are always very helpful.
Love Clydes! The prices keep creeping up and the restaurant isn't usually as crowded as it used to be. I know we don't go as often.
I love going to this place.
Everything about it is great!
We had a very lovely experience celebrating a birthday. The service and food was superb. The ambiance was amazing. We are already planning our next visit. Thank you for everything.
Service can be hit or miss with a space that large. That said, food was amazing our server was very kind and knowledgable.
Honestly, can't suggest this place enough. Its beautiful and its Clydes you know what you're getting :)
Food was good.. always like going to this Clyde’s because of its decor and history behind the buildings. Our waitress this time was very annoying, though. She would wink at us after every sentence and she was so overly dramatic with everything she truly sounded like she was practicing to be in an X-rated film… It didn’t take away from the food or the ambience but it make us all cringe each time she came to the table. She was trying waaaay too hard to the point of being obnoxious.
As always, everything was great. A lovely way to start the weekend!
Something just seemed...off. My husband ordered a “spicy” lentil burger, and it was anything but. The sangria was slightly off too. We normally have a great time, but this visit? Not so much. William and Randy were amazing and made sure we were heard and compensated.
Our 39th Anniversary! Our server was darling & we enjoyed the complimentary dessert.
Super waiter. Great food.
Our waiter, Nadem, was just the right amount of attentive and friendly, and our food was fantastic. The restaurant is beautiful and a nice change from the standard chains in Virginia.
As always great food great service and great food!! Also very receptive to request for quiet area for hard I’d hearing customers. Such a lovely surrounding and ambiance. We’ll be back for sure!!
Clyde's Willow Creek Farm is beautiful, charming and the food delicious!
Our waitress Anna B. was wonderful, sweet, kind, thoughtful and a wonderful. Everyone was helpful when we arrived and couldn't be more pleasant!
Laramie was our server and she was amazing! Patient. Thorough. She was the perfect accent to a great evening.
It’s always wonderful coming to Clyde’s Willow Creek and I always have the best service and a happy time when visiting!
Can’t wait to see you guys again!
We had a wonderful dinner at Clyde’s Willow Creek in Ashburn. Our server was attentive but not too much. He asked all the right questions and came around just often enough to be useful. He explained about all the local produce that they use. The food was wonderful, cooked to perfection, both the Alaskan Salmon and the filet mignon steak. And both the drinks and the dessert were also perfect. We are new to the area, but we will be returning to Clyde’s.
The food was really good. Could have used another plate of bread, which was amazing. Loved the salty butter. My biggest complaint was the noise level. Given the atmosphere and type of restaurant, I would have expected a much quieter dining experience. It was so loud in the small room we were in, my friend and I couldn't hear each other half the time, sitting right across the table from each other. I would probably not go back for a quiet dinner with one or two people. It's too loud to enjoy.
Anniversary. Most places do give a little cupcake or something which did not happen. Our server did say happy anniversary a couple of times tho.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The setting was wonderful, food outstanding and service superb!!
This trip to Cylde's generated mixed reviews on the food. The tomato bowl with added shrimp was excellent (though shrimp are a bit spicy so perhaps not to your taste), burger was very good, two salads were fresh but not outstanding, but half rack of ribs were over cooked and dry, while fries were luke warm when served and cooled more as dinner progressed. Crab and artichoke dip was too much cheese compared to crab and artichoke.
Server was good. Noise level low because few other guests. Bench seat at booth needed to be replaced- covering was significantly ripped. Bottom line, nice place to hit after the winery, but we would not make the trip out there from our home.
Staff was friendly and really made us feel right at home. Food was delicious and service was perfect. Could not have asked for more.
Good food, Reuben and Crab Bennie. Waiter was good as well, asked if all was well once or twice, but unable to tell him of the later issue. Only complaint was after finishing our appetizer of calamari(outstanding) we set the plates aside, even stacking one plate atop the other. A busboy walked by, looked at our table and kept going. Consequently, when the waitperson came by with our main order, she couldn't set the dishes down without our having to pick them up to make room. No big deal, but I would have preferred not to be doing that. I stacked them up to be helpful.
Good experience and food.
We were there with 5 people. Clydes handled it beautifully food was fresh and outstanding!
Waitress had a cold and I believe I got one from her now. Better stay home until she heals
Chose this restaurant for a special occasion as previous reviews had noted it was good for date nights, anniversaries, etc. As we had never been to this restaurant we did not know what type of dining experiences were available. Although our reservation specifically noted that this was a special occasion we were seated by the hostess in the bar area where the noise level was far too loud, turning into live music as the night progressed. NOT what you are looking for in a special occasion dining experience. Unfortunately we had never been here and did not know this was not the norm throughout the restaurant. Upon leaving the restaurant we discover there are plenty of actual dining rooms for a real dining experience. Not only did this restaurant ruin this special occasion that will only come once in a lifetime to celebrate, I can not recommend this restaurant to anyone and will never return after this experience.
I have been eating at this Clyde’s location for many years. The food was completely unacceptable. I had my son with me and he didn’t want me saying anything. The fingerling potatoes I had with my crab cake had mold. They were dry but I kept rubbing them in the sauce of the crab cake. I got down to the last potatoe and took a bite and tasted mold. My son had ribs that were old and tasted bad. He ate about half before pushing the plate to the side. Will never go back nor recommended. I have also made a point to tell my friends. Worst 71.00 I have ever spent on a meal
Had a wonderful evening at Clydes! Started with cocktails and shared a Caesar salad and New York Strip with Lyonnaise potatoes and roasted squash. All were excellent and cooked to perfection. Only issue was timing. Felt a little rushed as we barely had started our salad when entrees arrived. Otherwise dinner was excellent.
My wife and I had dinner on the patio. The weather and the ambiance were perfect. I have only 2 minor complaints - thus 4 stars not 5:
1. We split a Caesar salad. Each portion was served in small bowls - just a bit larger than monkey dishes. The romain was crushed and there was no room in the bowl to actually access the salad. The portions should have been served either on flat plates or in larger bowls such as soup bowls; and
2. We also ordered the Calamari which was over done and therefore tasteless despite the hot sweet and sour sauce. This is a fad in the DC area and I much prefer the classic Italian preparation. Lightly fried with a spicy marinara.
The Clydes at Willow Creek is an amazing venue. I was surprised and amazed when I drove up and enjoyed a walk around the restaurant and outside dining area.
It is like a vacation area.
Great service. Very pleasant wait staff. We have been before and will come again.
