Great service at JCT: table was ready, server was attentive, and the food was delicious. I didn't love the seasonal veggies with the chicken and dumplings, and they probably could have added a few more ricotta "dumplings," but overall a good meal with well-made cocktails and sincerely friendly service.

The restaurant is very nice on the inside and the service is great. I had an avocado shrimp salad for lunch, though, that literally had 3 small shrimp, 3 tiny pieces of avocado and a bunch of lettuce for $16. That's completely unacceptable. I was super hungry after this lunch.

Food fantastic, nothing we had was mediocre. Drinks, appetizers, entree, and dessert were all A+ divine. My strip was mouth melting good. I could go on and on about the food. I have eaten at a lot of great restaurants but what set this night apart was Emily Lindeman. There are servers and then there are the rare God given talented folks who transcend what the word and expectations of a service is. Tonight Emily helped create something special. We were there to celebrate my wife’s birthday and without Emily it would have just been a night of great food. Emily made the night come alive. We couldn’t be more excited about the evening we had at JCT. Congratulations to the Chefs, management team, and Staff. You all have created an environment which will be worthwhile to enjoy over and over again. We loved it. We love you Emily! Thank you for all you did.

Kind Regards,

The Collins Family

Our first visit happened to occur for Sunday Supper which is a fixed menu for a set price per person. The price was more than I intended to spend per person, but I did think the food was completely delicious and the serving sizes were large so we took food home. We will return, but the price is a little higher than our typical dining budget.

Service was VERY slow - with regards to both the server responding to requests (e.g., extra napkin) and the kitchen completing the food. The server also forgot to bring a special treat for my sister, whose birthday we were celebrating, even though this information was included on the reservation. Very disappointing experience.

Great Sunday Supper. I had not been in a while and the menu changed a bit. The deviled eggs were tinier, but still just as delicious. No more meatloaf on the menu, but they had blackened catfish. It was amazing and not fishy at all. The biscuits were dense and buttery. I loved them, but our server said she likes them better when they are flaky. They were perfect with the butter and apple butter mix. Sides were good. We enjoyed pecan pie for dessert and were so stuffed we couldn't finish dessert. Food came out quickly, yet we were allowed time to eat and not bothered. I love this place.

I'm visiting Atlanta from California and my Ad agency recommended JCT Kitchen and its fried chicken. So I met my local friend there. In addition to the wonderful food amd cocktails, one thing stood out unexpectedly. Our reservation was late (8:45pm) so when I ordered the fried chicken, they've already sold the last piece for the night. So I ordered shrimp and grits instead (which was fantastic). At the end of our meal the manager came out with an order of fried chicken on the house for takeout - the kitchen made it just for me! This is the way to take care of your customers, and for that reason alone we'll be coming back:)

My Experience was great
Besides the waitress not changing out my order when I told her the chicken was extremely salty for the chicken and dumplings. Everything was great besides that.

I really enjoyed the ambiance here especially Being able to sit outside. Chaz was great!! I do feel like the shrimp and avocado salad was over priced for that you get ..$16 for just shrimp avocado and lettuce literally. I hope that they work on that. Thanks!

Great place to eat. The food is good and you receive a good size portion. Be sure to try the fried chicken.
It can be noisy as it was this visit and you have to ask to move to a less quieter area. Service was outstanding and appreciate the check in by the waiter. Price is reasonable.

We had such a great experience celebrating our first anniversary. The food was amazing. We tried what seasonal veggies we could. We shared the Mac and cheese and Brussel sprouts - so amazing! Our drink pairings were perfect with our entrees. My husband had the trout and I tried the chicken and dumplings. We finished it off with a piece of the dark chocolate cake with a chocolate piece that said “happy anniversary” and two glasses of champagne. They gave us such a kind gift signing that evenings menu. It was a beautiful evening with great food! We can’t wait to come back.

Disappointing this visit. Have enjoyed Sunday Suppers at this venue in the past, but found food disappointing this time--over salted, just not interesting. On plus side, the deviled eggs and biscuits are still quite good, love the room.

Wait staff needs to be more sensitive about interrupting a conversation for just a pro forma, "how are things?" Three times the waitress butted in mid sentence.

Waiter was the only thing good about this place. Very knowledgeable, very friendly. We chose outside seating not realizing the train tracks just around the corner allowing loud whistles and clanging of the passing trains...but that’s on us. The food however, was not pleasing. I had the shrimp and grits and received only 4 shrimp, with bland flavored grits with average sauce, too much garnishes making it more salad than not...my better half had the “famous” fried chicken that was surprisingly dry...and that’s just out right frustrating. Probably will not go back here. Hopefully they have a turnaround though and it was just an off night.

I love this restaurant but when I bit into glass in my dessert I was shocked. I showed an employee and it took a long time before the manager came by and apologized. Then I looked on the bill and they took 7% off and charged me for the dessert... I’ve never had glass in my food but this is not what I expected from such a great restaurant. #disappointed
