JCT Kitchen and Bar

Very creative and food was very good. I did not know that I would not be able to enjoy the full menu to choose from as they have a Sunday fixed price limited menu, which, although good, was not what had attracted me to the restaurant to begin with.

I was therefore disappointed in the lack of choice on Sunday evening.

The restaurant, food and staff were fabulous, and this is from 2 foodies living in New York City!!!

We had dinner with our family at JCT Kitchen while visiting our daughter at Georgia Tech for Family Weekend. The food was outstanding and the service was even better. We will definitely be back!!

Overall, it was good. I went on Sunday, which has a limited menu...It felt a bit like everything was pre-made and sitting for a while. I’d be anxious to try the full menu, the restaurant has a good reputation and vibe, I suspect that I simply came on the wrong night.
One weird thing... I had a reservation...the young lady was about to seat me and a guy walked in, no reservation...she seated him first with a great fanfare...she acknowledged him in a way that you would a relative, or local celebrity...in any case, slightly uncool.

The cuisine is fabulous. Hats off to the chef and staff!

Food was excellent. Service between courses a bit slow, especially dessert.

Was taken care of quite nicely even with a 2 year old in tow. Did do a substitute that was late to the meal. It was there idea to not charge for this. It was my wife’s b’day and a very nice large dessert was given to her complimentary.

Great server and overall experience

1st time to Atlanta - and this was by far the best restaurant I visited. The fried chicken skins alone was to die for. The fried chicken was so juicy - great portions. Great service...definitely recommend this restaurant for visitors. I will be back...#friedchickenskins

We went here with family and friends as a group of 10 after my husband's white coat ceremony. Our waitress, Gloria, was very attentive and straight to the point. We ordered everything from deviled egg appetizers to the fried fish sandwich entrée. All of the food was great and we have a nice time.

First time for us. Best meal I've had all year. Fried chicken was lit. Angry mussels were 100. Even the pasta with pork belly was cray cray. Can't recommend this place enough.

I went to JCT for the first time for a Saturday lunch. I made reservations so there was so wait. The restaurant is very modern and sleek. Good parking and easy to get to. The food was good, got the fried chicken sandwich. Prices were fair. I would definitely go back.

Great overall

All was great especially our waitress. She was very attentive but not pushy. The food was outstanding and were the cocktails.

Great place, I proposed to fiancée here. The staff was very grateful and helpful. They made sure I had all the things needed to pull off the ultimate surprise. Fiancée was very surprised and happy. She said "YES". The food and drinks were great. Food came out fast and hot and drinks were strong and tasty. On the way out the hostess was very nice and gave us a gift to make sure we return. Great Staff!!!! I had the wood grilled chicken sandwich with fries and fiancée had wood grilled burger. Both were good. I had the "BEE MY LOVER" specialty cocktail and it was great. A little strong and for me to say that it had to be, because I am a Scotch whisky drinker. But at the end of the day we had an excellent experience.

The hostes along with the manager having a fun conversation at the bar, as we walked in. They saw us walking in, but decided to continue talking for another minute. Disrespectful and unacceptable. Will not go back.

Wish I could give this no stars. Made a reservation for 8 people, to celebrate and say farewell to two friends who are moving away from Atlanta and when the first 4 of us arrived the hostess told us she could only seat us once the “majority of our group arrived.” So we had to stand in the entry way for 10 minutes while a few other friends parked and even after the “majority” of us arrived she didn’t seat us for another 5 minutes.
After they sat us down at a table that was only set for 7 people, not 8.
It seemed like our waiter was overwhelmed because he rarely came to our table and drinks took forever to arrive.
I ordered the steak and potatoes, cooked medium rare, and when it arrived the steak was closer to well done. A friend had also ordered the steak and hers was over cooked as well. So we told the waiter and he took them away. No apology. Nearly 20 minutes go by and we’re still sitting there with no food watching everyone else eat. I told him not to send out my steak because at that point I didn’t want it anymore and he wouldn’t accept that. He still brought it out nearly 30 minutes after everyone else got their food and put it in front of me. He came back to check on us and I told him again I didn’t want the steak anymore because I wasn’t going to enjoy it, he asked if I wanted a box and I said AGAIN no that I didn’t want the steak. He rudely took the plate without another word. No manager came over to apologize, no apology from the waiter. Nothing. I left here without eating dinner and I sure as heck will never eat here again.

Sunday Supper was superb! Our server was amazing!! Great experience.

Enjoyed the food and ambiance, restaurant had great energy downstairs. Online said there was suppose to be a DJ from 8-12 not a live band which was horrible I preferred listening to the overhead music.

The food is consistently excellent. The serving staff is top notch. Another wonderful dining experience.

Loved the vibe - very laid back. Focus seemed to be on ensuring a good meal arrived at the table. Our server, Paige, was very attentive.

Fairly loud from where we were seated. Made it hard to hold conversations for a group of 6. Might be okay for a much smaller party, where you can sit closer together. Love the lemonheads!!!

Music is too loud. You cannot hear conversations at the table. Also sandwiches need rework. I ordered the fish sandwich and you are unable to hold it in your hand without contents falling out and the sandwich falling apart. I ended up using a fork because I did not want coleslaw and sauce falling onto my clothes. Also, fries need reworking too. I ordered truffle fries but the dish was too overwhelming and too much to consume. Perhaps coleslaw should be served as a side dish with the fish sandwich.

My food was cold.... very disappointing !!

Celebrated my boyfriends 24th birthday here. Service was great, food was delicious and it was overall a great location. When I’m back in Atlanta I’ll be sure to visit again!

Great food, service, and environment. Fun, but not super casual.

Very dim lighting. We could barely see our food. Service was poor and food was downright awful for such a ridiculous price.

Recommended by family member but we were all disappointed with food. Great server and atmosphere though.

We absolutely LOVE this restaurant! And then going upstairs to listen to great music.

Went for late night food. Was weird when restaurant started closing before we even got our entrees, but understandable from the timing of our reservation. Well done twist on southern food, great time as always.
