We went to Roy’s three times in one week, because the food is so amazing. When you combine that with the excellent service and calm atmosphere, we really didn’t want to go anywhere else. We were there last year and Royce was definitely on our list for this visit. Planning to go again next trip to Hawaii!!

We had a sashimi appetizer, shared a trio of seafood classics and a pork shank. The pork shank was super good, everything else was underwhelming. That should not be the case when the price was close to 200 dollars. Service was excellent but I don’t think I would return here.

We went to Roy’s last year and enjoyed it so much we could not wait to come back this year. In fact, we have been there twice this visit and are going again tonight. The service is wonderful, the atmosphere is elegant, and the food is scrumptious.

Hubs and I had the prix fix (sp). You enjoy the full selection;) the lobster sauce for the fish was spectacular. The fresh grezn beans were lovely. Do yourself a favor up order to the pineapple upside down cake. Delicious!

A phenomenal meal with extraordinary service and attention to detail. The only drawback was that we were seated next to a room where an event was taking place and it got a little noisy; otherwise it would have been absolutely perfect.

Overall okay. We waited a long time between appetizers and entree. We had to ask about our food. It was brought shortly after asking but one entree wasn’t cooked enough to eat. Eventually a replacement was brought and eaten. We were celebrating a special occasion and were a little disappointed on the service considering the cost. We live locally and have been to many other Roy’s. This was our first disappointment.

As always Roy’s does not disappoint. The food and service was excellent. The free dessert for my daughter’s birthday was a bonus. Definitely a nice surprise.

Me and my wife came here on our last night of our honeymoon for a nice dinner. I will truly say Roy’s was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Food was very very good, our waitress Maya was so kind and helpful, and we just had a very lovely time. If you are looking for a nice place Waikiki for dinner, go to Roy’s cause you will not be disappointed!

Everything was great. Server was nice, and knowledgeable. They got us in earlier than our reservation which wasn’t necessary but appreciated. Portion sizes - I.e. sides/vegetables etc. for the $ was a little under expectations but the flavors were amazing. Overall 8/10 - for the area- not overpriced just a little under delivered.

I’ve been to Roy’s restaurants quite a few times. To me, Roy’s has always represented a consistently high level with its food and service. With this recent visit, the food quality was still high, but the service was off. The wait times for food from the kitchen tend to run long. But what didn’t work for me was how they bussed our table. Long wait for food with repeatedly quick request to clear our plates, even when food was still on plates and guests had utensils in hand. It was mildly irritating. I’m sure I’ll be back, and I’m hopeful it was just an off night.

From start to finish, the young lady that sat us at our table was outstanding. Our server, Tanner and his assistant were awesome. My wife and I can comfortably say that this is some of the best fish that we have ever had, and was clear that it was very fresh. One of the more outstanding dining experiences that we’ve ever had.

The good stuff; mixed green salad, ahi carpaccio, & the service. The bad stuff ordered Poke, which is on the menu, but they no longer have available, my wife ordered the honey glazed short rib dinner & the forgot to place the order, then returned fairly quickly with the short rib appetizer?? Go to Roys Eating House down the street it was so much better

We have been to almost every Roy’s location for our vacation dining and this one was by far our favorite. The entire experience was 5 star and the food was phenomenal. We will definitely be back!

The food and service were excellent. We’ve eaten at many Roy’s restaurants and this was among the best. The sushi appetizer was large enough to split and the seafood entrees were outstanding. We couldn’t leave without splitting a chocolate soufflé!
