El Freemasons at Wiswell sirve comida fabulosa en un entorno rural elegante y relajado. Está ubicado en la localidad de Wiswell (también conocida como "la caja de bombones"), cerca de Clitheroe, en el pintoresco Ribble Valley. Se reformó y se volvió a abrir en el verano de 2009 y ahora ofrece un ambiente hogareño para una clientela fiel. Set in the centre of the main street of the historic market town of Clitheroe, the Swan and Royal in a former coaching inn dating back to the 1830s.In its earlier years as a hostelry, it boasts guests both famous and some say infamous, in the local area and throughout the country. You can stay in rooms named after a selection of the most interesting of these people.
After the fire, the Swan and Royal has undergone a major refurbishment, keeping its original character and still making it a warm and friendly place to eat and drink.
During the day it is the ideal place to rest tired legs after walking round the market or the wide range of individual shops Clitheroe has to offer. At night it is a little more lively – being the centre of town makes it the centre of socialising!

Using only freshly sourced Lancashire ingredients, including fresh seasonal vegetables, juicy steaks, fresh fish along with deliciously prepared vegetarian options, we have a menu to suit all tastes. Being right on the North Lancashire and South Cumbria border, the Longlands Inn is surrounded by farmers offering some great local specialties. Fell-bred and salt-marsh lamb, fabulous cheeses, freshly-caught fish, are then all expertly prepared and cooked by our brilliant resident chef Mark Swanton.

The inn offers several different areas to sit relax, eat and drink with cosy drinking areas, a mixtures of high and low seating and a private dining area. The open pass from the kitchen allows guests to see our kitchen in operation and all this leads to creating a lively buzz and great atmosphere.
