Savoro Restaurant with Rooms - London
Our first visit. Good food, nice ambience. We shared our food, so ended up with four very nice courses. Generous portions.
We have been to Savoro several times but not for about a year. I am pleased to say that it was as good as I remembered it to be. The choice on the menu was excellent and my husband and I both had difficulty choosing as there were so many things we liked. I had the Thai beef starter which was really amazing. However it was a big portion, which meant that I made very little impression on my pasta main course. Our waiter had no hesitation when I asked for a "Doggie Bag". This is a lovely restaurant with good food, very pleasant staff and nice ambience. I can recommend it.
We have been visiting Savoro once a year for 8 years now and it always comes up trumps. We initially went there for a treat for a friend's 70th birthday and we've just celebrated his 77th. Savoro has good value set menus and wide range of choices. The wine list is reasonable. It was empty for this late Monday lunch but the waiter seemed happy to keep serving and placed us under no pressure to finish up. We'l be back soon.
A family group of six ate here on Good Friday and the service and quality of food was excellent. The food was beautifully cooked, especially the scallops and the lamb, and so interesting to see such interesting ice cream flavours on the menu which sadly I did not have room for.
I don't usually write reviews but Savoro deserve one.
The food and service was some of the best I have experienced in quite some time.
I won't go into any more detail as you should go and try it yourself
for our anniversary dinner we thought we'd visit somewhere local expecting a pleasant evening....but we were treated to a surprisingly outstanding meal. The food was high quality with clever matching of flavours and textures.
Both the steak and fish were excellent. Attentive staff and low-level lighting helped the atmosphere for our post Valentine's meal. Would highly recommend. It wasn't prohibitively expensive either. Tops night.
second visit here in 2 weeks! have only ordered the set menu as such great value. Service is excellent, food delicious! will definitely be back again soon!
wow didnt realise this place existed! gorgeous food, excellent service, great menu! will definitely be back!
Our Sunday lunch at Savoro was a real treat! The service was friendly, attentive and the timing between courses was perfect. We all had different first courses, beautifully presented and really delicious. The mains were a success too, in particular the half roast chicken, exquisitely tender and flavoursome. For the dessert, we shared a " lavender crème brûlée" that disappeared in a few seconds with unanimous approval... My (French!) palate was utterly satisfied! We will come back!!
It was my 3rd time visiting the restaurant and the food and service were excellent . My friends enjoyed they meal and would happily visit again.
3 generations ,my husband and I together with my parents and children enjoyed a lovely lunch.
Great food, great service - we will be back soon !!
Set just off the High Street in Barnet, Savoro offer food which would befit a top West End restaurant, but at affordable local prices. The food is excellent and beautifully presented and the service cannot be faulted. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
My friend and I were both celebrating on 14 June and chose Savoro for lunch based on the reviews on this website. We weren't disappointed. The food was delicious and very well-presented, the table was beautifully set and the service was attentive and professional. We will definitely go back there again. And again.
Good ingredients cooked with respect with excellent service.
Interesting wine list and knowledgable staff.
Very good food and excellent service. Good all round value.
Friend and I enjoyed our meal at this restaurant, the service was friendly and the food good, especially enjoyed the goats cheese souffle!
Took my mother here recently - it was very quiet and they were a little slow in giving us a menu but that is my only complaint. We chose from the set two course menu and couldn't fault the food. The lentil soup was delicious as was the steak and chips and the price was very reasonable - will definitely revisit.
We recently ate at Savoro again and were not disappointed. The food and service are consistently good and it's our favourite local restaurant.
I wanted somewhere good for a birthday. I've been to Savoro before and enjoyed it. I was interested to see how the layout and menu changes have worked out given come comments - and to see how it was on a Tuesday. Good to say and I and my party were all very pleased. Food was very good and our waiter actually seemed to enjoy serving us which is great in this day and age. Will definitely visit again before long. Recommended.
We went to Savoro for dinner early with some friends. Usually we eat later but on this occasion we ate before 7pm.
We were given 2 menus. The regular menu and an Early dinner menu.
We took advantage of the latter menu which was very good value and an enjoyable meal and a glass of wine was had by all.
We dined recently at Savoro and had another excellent meal. The food and service never disappoint.
Sunday lunch at Savoro is a real treat. Huge portion of succulent roast meat, huge amount of vegetables/ 2 courses for £19.95. A really good choice from a set menu. Desserts are wonderful and crème brulee is one of the best. The restuarant was full and a little noisy but overall a good experience with friendly efficient staff. Would always recommend and we keep going back.
Had a lovely meal as always at Savoro. Excellent value at 23.95 for 2 course. Only small criticism the chicken liver parfait was very loose and a strange sloppy texture but calves liver was heavenly, cooked to perfection and melt in the mouth. Service was a bit slow the night we went but the restaurant was full. Would not stop us from returning. Staff always pleasant and helpful.
the food was ok, but this is exactly what it is - a hotel dining room with no atmosphere. it was empty apart from three tables of diners. everything about it is "bland and boring". do not think we will re-visit this venue!! it was not cheap at all but the food was adequately served and prepared.
Once again we had a very good meal at Savoro. The chairs are very comfortable and the tables are well laid. We keep returning to this restaurant because the food is so good. We have taken lots of different friends there and they all like the restaurant.
I visited Savoro on a Saturday recently with a couple of girlfriends, we all ordered from the set menu which was great value. Strangely we all had the same thing and had varying opinions about it. The food in my opinion was good, but not show stopping. The wine menu was extensive and had good content. The wait staff were attentive without being annoying and we had plenty of everything we needed.
All in all I liked it and would certainly return for a leisurely boozy afternoon brunch. Only downside is they dont have an outside seating area, a shame.
As always, a great dining experience at Savoro. Beautifully cooked dishes with excellent service. One main dish, though, the sea bass was over roasted and therefore a bit dry. Only this prevents the ratings from being excellent on food.
Best restaurant in Barnet & Hadley Wood by miles...
A good place for Sunday Lunch, excellent food, well presented by pleasant staff.
I had the cider soup for starter which was delicious. My husband had the squid for starter which was also very good. The mains were a little bit disappointing. My husband ordered a medium rare steak which was actually almost well done. Not impressive for a £26 steak. My main was chicken with mushroom linguine which was tasty.
Have visited this restaurant many times and it never disappoints. Celebrated our wedding anniversary with lunch. Excellent food, service and ambiance. Will be going back again.
We dined at Savoro recently with friends and we all had an exclent meal. We will be returning again.
Not been to Savoro for quite a long time, and never for Sunday lunch. It has never disappointed. This father's day we were a bit late booking so surprised to get a table. It was however a full house. Booking times had been carefully planned to ensure good service was maintained. This is not the cheapest Sunday lunch in town, but the quality and quantity is outstanding and represents good value. Great menu including usual choice of roasts, beautifully presented, all ready plated. Also a choice of fish dishes. It's a three course menu - but lovely fresh fruit was provided when sweet declined by one of our party. We all ate more than we should.
Great local restaurant with a West End feel. Been there many time, highly recommended
We were there with my wife and we agreed that we had a great experience. The service was excellent and the food was great to. I really recommend this place and we will return too.
Really nice restaurant with a great wine list to go with the fantastic menu. Maybe a touch expensive, but worth it for special occasions. Would definitely go again.
Had a very pleasant evening with a friend at Savoro.
Dinner and atmosphere were vey nice
Food was cooked freshly and the vegetables were cooked well
We recently enjoyed another excellent meal at Savoro. The standard is equally good both at lunchtime and in the evenings. We will dine there again soon.
Sometimes I think we could eat here every night. Food excellent and staff always welcoming.
We enjoyed an excellent meal with friends at Savoro recently. The food and service were first class as always. Look forward to returning.
