Named after the Italian artist Giovanni Smeraldi's, who masterminded the Spanish and Italian Renaissance frescoes throughout the opulent hotel, Smeraldi’s trattoria is one of the best places to eat in L.A, offering fresh handmade pizza and pasta, savory Italian appetizers and mouth-watering main courses ideal for family-style dining.

Lovely, casual restaurant in a beautiful, historic hotel. We had the lunch buffet; the choices were many and delicious. Our waiter was attentive, helpful, and personable. Valet parking was easy and reasonable. Always fun to visit DTLA iconic locations and have them as wonderful as remembered.

The Millenium Biltmore is the only place we celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas. We have been coming in this hotel since my Children were little, so we made it a tradition to celebrate in this iconic historical hotel. Food are sumptuous with lots of choices, ambiance was great. Crystal ballroom the best place to be in celebrating any occasion. Will be back on Mother's Day.

I took my two employees for a team lunch and we all had the buffet. Overall the space was nice and the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was generally good but the standout for me was the pumpkin ravioli. It was excellent. My team liked the prime rib, crab legs and the orange chicken and fried rice. I liked the pasta bar where you could have the pasta made to your liking with several delicious options. The only negatives I had is that for me the fresh horseradish, crab legs and the shrimp were essentially tasteless. So weird because I have never had horseradish that had no flavor or kick to it. However, I think overall it was a good value for the money and the servers were extremely attentive which is a huge plus.

I have many business meetings here. Location is in DTLA and central for people coming from various directions. Service is always consistent--love Miguel, Tei, etc. They added prime rib to the lunch buffet which was very good. It was a louder than usual lunch time with a large group (Amtrak) having their team lunch. Otherwise, all was great!

The hotel is gorgeous, buffet had made to omelette s where the chef was a showman. Service was impeccable. Perfect place to entertain my guests.

I was disappointed at first as when we arrived, they gave us the wrong menu (breakfast menu) at 11:30 am. Secondly, the bread served was very hard and appeared to have been warmed up too much in a microwave. But the food was good.
