Reservation at 10, was seated at 10:45. Waited for our food for over 40 min just to get a cold piece pf steak that did not look like it was worth what they charge. Server was great. But, you can tell they are understaffed.
Even with a reservation we stood in line for 30 minutes just to be told that they were behind and we never were seated. Birthday dinner gone wrong
We had a reservation at 9 didn’t get seated like around 10:20 our waiter was cool took long to bring the drinks,dessert menu, and the whole time I was never offered a refill on my drink
Worst experience ever. The service was terrible waited over 3 hours to be served dinner.
The good: The staff was working hard to make it the best experience possible and I truly appreciate that. They remembered that it was our anniversary and surprised us with a treat at the end.
The bad: The valet was full by 8:15 and we had to find random parking in the area blocks from the restaurant. We we’re still ten minutes early for our res and there was a line out the door. The reservations were pointless, it was literally a bait and switch tactic. The host at the door told us to head upstairs for outdoor seating and, “hopefully there’s tables available “. The outdoor seating wasn’t the best. it was flimsy pool furniture and the heaters were having issues, it was freezing. We eventually were able to relocate after another couple finished with their table. The food took an hour to arrive but it was tasty. Our experience was better than a lot of other couples and I credit that to our server Ari! Don’t think we’ll be back.
I was unfortunate enough to have had a HORRIBLE experience at STK, along with my dinner party of 10 other guests. After reading other reviews and seeing the pictures, I decided this restaurant would be great to celebrate my 25th birthday, clearly I was misinformed. I had reservations for 8:15pm on 9/18. Arrived early, and had to wait in a long line just for check in- ok understandable. By the time I was able to successfully check in with my party who was already fully present- it was 8:40pm. Then was sent to another time to be seated on the side patio. Once we walked over we were told there were no available tables and had to wait. My party was told to wait by the pool, and we were not seated until 9:50pm when we had a 8:15 pm reservation. DESPITE this, we were all still willing to wait to seat down and order, as we already waited this long. We did not have a waiter come to us until 10:15pm, when we flagged someone down, as we didn’t even get our drink orders placed. A waitress eventually came, and due to the wait, we all placed our order in full. Fast forward to 11, we asked our waitress about further wait time for the food, and she stated she didn’t know because they are backed up- ok, we again tried to remain potent and thanked her for checking. Moving forward to 11:30, we ask to speak to a manager, who clearly ignored us as he slept walking by and stared at us. I believe his name was Thomas, as earlier I heard another disgruntled customer ask for his name due to his poor treatment on him and his guests- that should have been a sign. Finally he comes over and doesn’t even try to talk to us as he cuts off my friend mid sentence and says he will check the kitchen. My friend politely attempts explain what we experience and he again cuts her off then walks away saying he will check. We then get our food after a few more minutes and the steaks are COLD. Clearly astounded by this and frustrated we flag down the manager who greets us with attitude and sarcasm. Horrid
I have been at STK Las Vegas and New York locations many times. For my birthday I wanted to visit STK Los Angeles. From start to end everything was wrong. At the entrance a long line of people welcomes you with a man at the door just like a nightclub. When my turn came to see the host it only took 15 minutes for her to reply back to me and get seated. At this point I thought they are busy on Saturday night but things started to get worse. Immediately after our drinks arrived we gave our full order starters and the main course. It took 45-50 minutes for fried calamari and oysters to arrive and it took 2 hours for our steaks to arrive since we gave the order. Servers were keep saying they are understaffed but establishments like STK should be prepared accordingly even if they are understaffed.
After getting our main course the steaks were cold and overcooked. The sides we ordered were cold and soggy. At this point I found the manager and talked with him. When I told him that I do understand you guys are short staffed he immediately said that they are not. It looks like employees using this as an excuse. I explained my horrible experience to the manager he apologized when I returned my table another manager showed up. She was very nice and looked quite understanding. I showed her our steaks were over cooked and cold. Especially surf and turf plate the steak was like a charcoal, it was not eatable at all. They fixed our check and I left the restaurant hungry and unhappy on my birthday night.
Another problem was their bathrooms. This restaurant located in the W Hotel and they share the bathrooms with the hotel’s lobby area. When I told an employee about how dirty is the bathroom on top of that I told them there were no soap, paper towel and toilet paper in the bathrooms she got very defensive and said that’s hotel’s responsibility they have nothing to do with that. Since the restaurant don’t have their own bathrooms, it’s also their responsibility to keep up with it.
Our server, Jeff, was really cool in the beginning but not for long. Our food took forever to come out. He was no longer attentive after we started ordering. I didn’t care for the food or drinks, actually. But it’s really nice, the dj was amazing and I loved how attentive the busser was even though our server was not. I should’ve tipped him, too!
Very nice staff especially our server Dustin and the runner Abe. Outdoor setting with old patio furniture and disco music blaring. Grossly overpriced for subpar food.
I recommend dinning when doors open at 6PM. It is very quiet with a good amount of background music. The steaks, the drinks and their bread was delicious. Superior customer service. They do not have public parking there, but valet is available. Awesome experience.

Great ambiance and service but out of the 6 guest who dined with us, only 3 of us were satisfied with the food. Perhaps it was a busy/off night because we’d all visited other STK locations. The manager and waiter were both nice and accommodating. Drinks were amazing and the DJ was excellent.
To expensive for the quality of the food.
We wanted some expensive stakes for the taste but they put to much salt.
Very disappointed. We requested indoor seating but the indoor was closed. We were seated in the bar area with our family. Service was terrible. Our waitress was spread too thin. We felt bad for her. At one point we asked the gentleman serving us water for more cocktail sauce to eat with our seafood platter since we couldn’t find our waitress. We were told that he couldn’t help up and we had ask our server. I had reservations to bring my friends Tuesday. I just canceled them as I cannot bring friends if it’s like this.
Great food good service
Awful. Pricy AF for no reason. Sides were good but the steak was dry, unseasoned and completed over cooked. I was never asked how I wanted it prepared. We had a party of 5 so the bill was huge. Worst experience. Had a reservation and still had to wait 45 minutes to be seated.
Great experience! Looking for a DJ outdoor bar, amazing food and fun vibe in Westwood. Come here.
I made a reservation inside and inside opened at 6:00 so I was given a table outdoors which I did not like
We were staying in the hotel so it was a little strange/bias’e that we were seated by the same pool area we hung out at earlier in the day vs inside —- but if we didn’t know better the setting was fine and the staff was great for dinner

The waitress through away my food when I went to this restroom and still had a lot left over I was Very disappointed so I tipped her a lot less than I would.
Loved the outdoor seating, staff was very attentive in making sure we didn’t melt in the sun. My steak was cooked perfectly. The bottomless mimosas were lovely as well.
I made a reservation for indoor dining (as I had the option to choose indoor or outdoor). When arrived (on time!) The host and manager wanted to seat us outside even though i mentioned and showed them my reservation for indoor. The manager was very rude and not welcoming. Eventually we were seated inside and enjoyed our evening. We're a regular at this place as we love the food and vibe. Great place, bad manager. That's a shame.
First time at this location we had a good time, wish I would have known only outside seating before 6pm my reservation was at 5 pm so we sat outside it was nice but wasn’t preferred. Food was excellent except my calamari was over cooked slightly taste better at the Atlanta STK the calamari was cooked perfect melted in your mouth there, here was a little chewy. Steak, lobster and sides all were amazing. Service was on point.
My server Teal was amazing! From the moment we sat down to the time we left. She recommended great food that she would think we would love and she was right! Definitely will be coming back. The ambiance was amazing, perfect for a date night.

Mac & Cheese was not good
It was amazing! I was celebrating my boyfriend's birthday, We ordered the sea bass and the filet mignon. Everything was very tasty and the food came out at a great time. Our waitress was attentive and welcoming. This is a great place for dates or a night out with friends.
The meal was well over priced for what it was. Couldn’t get the the bill for an1/2 hour later, after I was done with the meal. Then the waitress set the tip to the highest it could go and wanted me to pay over a hundred dollar tip. I would have if she just let me choose what to give her, not set it high. I don’t think I will go back.

Ordered the avocado toast w/ eggs - didn’t get the eggs lol.
If you just want to chill with friends and are all about the ambiance and drinks I would recommend however don’t take potential clients or have power lunch/brunch for important business dealings here- it’s too 50/50 and I personally wouldn’t take the chance.
The hostesses we’re extremely friendly and welcoming and that started of the night on the right foot as they really helped accommodate us during these hard times of covid.
The overall experience was great but unfortunately some of the plates were not up to par it all. The birthday boy ordered the wagyu flat iron steak and it came out dry and cold yet he still ate it. 4 other people had to have their plates redone as the food was cold. We had a party of 15 which is a large group but not sure how a restaurant of STK level would send cold overcooked food out.
All in all we made the most of the night and enjoyed ourselves here.
