Una gastronomía elegante espera al comensal en el área de comedor privada tanto dentro del establecimiento como al aire libre, así como los espacios en el bar principal. Justo al entrar lo recibe la barra de mármol, en donde se encontrará a la luz de las velas frente a las mesas de manteles blancos ubicadas en un área de hermoso piso de madera y ladrillo, y rodeadas de botellas de elegantes vinos italianos. Decir que la comida es auténtica sería un eufemismo, pues la chef y propietaria transporta al comensal hasta su ciudad en el norte de Italia gracias a las importaciones de comida italiana y a sus más de 40 vinos, casi todos ellos servidos por copa.

La comida fue muy buena, no tanto el servicio. Teniamos una reserva para las 21 hs y tuvimos que esperar media hora más porque no tenian mesa disponible. Sacando eso, estuvo bien.

La comida es deliciosa. El servicio bien pero nada extraordinario. El lugar es lindo pero tiene un solo baño para mujeres y otro para hombres; eso es incómodo. En general, por la comida, sí lo recomiendo.

Only one of our party was unhappy with entree - lamb popsicles were not cooked to his liking. I loved shrimp with pesto pasta. House salad great. No bread served - maybe we didn’t ask for it? Bruschetta was great as appetizer.

A lovely place with friendly and good staff, though the food was not so good. It is supposed to be Italian, but even a plain pasta was not rightly cooked. Wouldn’t recommend the food.

My wife and I love this place. The food is always so well prepared. It's fresh, flavorful, so pure. The cheese (whatever kind you get) is always amazing. Recently had to Osso Buco and it was truly the best I ever had. Highly recommend this place. We go almost every year for our anniversary.

Italian Barrel is my go-to restaurant for Italian food in New Orleans. It is authentic, well priced and I love the restaurant! We have our Friday Mardi Gras luncheon for 50+ there every year. The food is delicious, chef is very accommodating and the staff delightful. You can't go wrong with anything you order!

We were “tween” dining at 3:30pm, so it’s not fair that it was empty. Service was very nice and welcoming. The bruschetta was great, cheese plate also very good, of a bit pricey at $36. The Chef’s recipe rigatoni was delicious and the my made an exception to make it without peas for my daughters allergy. My other daughter had gnocchi, good and my wife had the pumpkin ravioli, very good. My veal porcini however was just ok and for $39, it should have been better. Tiramisu was great.

We placed reservations and when we got there we were confused because no one was to be seen. I walked around saying hello in hopes someone would here me. We waited several minutes because we could hear voices in the back. We were finally seated. The food was delish. I got the pesto e scampi and my husband got the chicken parm. The chicken parm comes with two sauces. My husband asked if the white sauce could be replaced with a meat sauce and the kitchen did just that. Very accommodating. The front house service can be improved but the food is something to return for. If you like your food saucy this is a spot to ask bc the sauce serving isn’t much but the flavors are yum!

Service was very slow. Food was disappointing. We have not been here n over a year and we were looking so forward to it. Something is definitely different. Food was not great. Very bland. Staff was not attentive. . . So disappointing for my birthday with dinner date out with friends was a flop. .

Food was great. Sat at bar, bartender made great cocktail. No menu variations. The restaurant had empty seats, but when we walked in, hostess said nothin available. Went on OpenTable and got reservation no problem. Seems a bit strange we couldn't walk in, guess resy required

I was very confused. We were seated by the Hostess. Our first server was a gentleman who told us about the house specials of the day. He took our drink order and appetizerorder. A second server brought us our drinks and bread. Then another server brought our appetizers. It was just weird. Overall the food was wonderful. We did order dessert to go, however, the server neglected to put silverware in the to go bag. There's a 75% chance I'd go back because the food was good.

My friend and I had dinner at the bar. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The bartender was very knowledgeable about the wine selection. We like to drink wine but aren't really familiar with the Italian wines. After explaining what we like he set us up with exactly what we wanted. Dinner was great as always.
