Our server Kevin was outstanding. What is unfortunate is the quality of the food changes. We frequent this location and the quality and quantity is always guesswork. It would be great to have consistency in quality.
Melting Pot - GaithersburgRespondió el 24 de agosto de 2026
Thank you for sharing your visit. We’re glad your server provided outstanding service. We understand how frustrating it is when food quality and portion sizes vary, especially as a regular. If you would like to share specifics about recent visits, please contact the restaurant directly or ask for the manager so we can learn more.

Service was terrible and they don’t explain costs appropriately so meal ended up being $500 and should not have been as server said à la carte was the same as ordering the preset options. 6 people should have been about 300-400 max

Here’s a polished review you could post for The Melting Pot: For more than 30 years, The Melting Pot in Gaithersburg has been part of some of our most cherished memories. We have celebrated anniversaries, birthdays, Valentine’s Days, and so many special milestones there, and every single visit has felt memorable and unique. What keeps us coming back year after year is not just the exceptional fondue, but the entire experience. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and intimate without ever feeling pretentious. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to make every celebration feel important, and the attention to detail is remarkable. There is something timeless and special about slowing down, sharing conversation, and enjoying a meal designed to bring people together. Few restaurants can say they have been part of a family’s traditions for decades, but The Melting Pot has certainly earned that place in ours. After all these years, it still feels magical every time we walk through the doors. Thank you for over three decades of wonderful memories, outstanding service, and unforgettable celebrations.
