Vita Nova es un restaurante operado por estudiantes ya que forma parte del programa de Administración de Empresas de Hospitalidad de la Universidad de Delaware. Cuenta con el galardonado almuerzo buffet "Best of Delaware" de lunes a viernes, y elegante gastronomía de miércoles a viernes durante los periodos de otoño y primavera. Los estudiantes ofrecen platillos frescos y locales para el almuerzo, incluyendo ensaladas gourmet, sopas, pastas, platos principales, paninis asados al fuego, panes planos, tablas de quesos y mini dulces. La cena de 5 tiempos comienza con una aperitivo triple de estilo fusión, seguido por un entremés y una entrada de su elección, todo preparado en la recién renovada cocina abierta. La noche termina con una nota dulce con un trío de postres irresistibles. Vita Nova ofrece una amplia selección de bebidas que incluye 20 vinos por copa, cerveza local y bebidas a base de espresso. Los estudiantes de hostelería también manejan la Vita Nova Bistro, que ofrece una cena más informal con un innovador menú de platos pequeños y un menú de teatro de 3 tiempos.

The special tasting menu evening at Vita Nova was an excellent experience in fine dining. The food , wines to experience with each of the six courses and the service was impeccable. Also the care in offering substitutes for 2 shellfish dishes was greatly appreciated by one of the diners at our table. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed this fabulous meal. Congratulations to the students and their instructors for the culinary achievement!

We had a lovely, delicious lunch with friends with a delightful waiter serving us. I loved the fact that is was quiet enough that we could carry on a comfortable conversation. Very important for me!

Vita Nova always provides a special dining experience. Knowing it is real world experience for the culinary students who are learning every phase of hospitality industry makes it even better. Delicious food, great service.

I enjoyed the company of two longtime friends as we treated ourselves to a delicious lunch and enjoyed the lovely service the Vita Nova provides. It was a pleasure dining there.

Lots of wonderful choices at the buffet. They change frequently. Some things are pretty constant like the popovers and crème brûlée. Soup salad, entrées, cheese, and fruit and you can even get wine or beer.

The food was delicious and the buffet menu was well thought out. The service, as always, was top notch. The servers were attentive without hovering. The manager did a great job supporting the staff as it early in the semester. She was there to answer questions and help where needed. Great place for lunch.

We had the lunch and it was a delicious selection of soup , salad, a choice of salmon, pork lion and roasted turkey .Vegetables were roasted sweet potatoes and Brussel sprouts.Petite desert selection.All food was well prepared

Always a great experience at Vita Nova. The food is great and abundant at lunch. Appreciated the efforts of the students. It’s a tough reservation to get but worth it.
