We have loved the Zinfandel Grille since it first opened. It has become the favorite restaurant of our family--wonderful food, reasonable prices, handsome decor, and attentive and well-trained servers. In our case, it's close to home, but we'd go a long distance to enjoy a dinner or lunch there any day.

We have dined there several times. Always enjoyed the food and the staff are pleasant, accommodating and attentive. Only minor complaint, the music could be lower in volume. No worries, however, we will be back to dine again.

When I stepped into Zinfandel Grille, I was captivated by its celebration of local, seasonal, farm-to-fork bounty. I enjoyed dining on their patio, which allowed me to bask in the early fall weather. The menu offerings were fantastic. I indulged in the french fries (a must!), shishito peppers, and the heirloom tomato and stone fruit salad. Each dish was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients. The flavors were rich, vibrant, and perfectly balanced, leaving me thoroughly satisfied.

I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was done perfectly. The staff (esp our waiter) was extremely friendly and attentive. It made for a nice and special birthday celebration for grandma.

I don’t know why I don’t remember to go there more often. It is an older, discerning crowd, and so it is always excellent. I should be eating there once a week. Maybe I’ll make Friday lunch after my last class a regular thing, to start the weekend.

Lighting is too dim for the faintly printed menus to permit reading without a flashlight. The light fixtures in the main dining area are quite dated and insufficient. The new pappardelle dish was marred by excessive salt. New dessert cakes were hard and dry.

We have been choosing Zinfandel Grille as our special occasion restaurant for several years. We found on our latest visit that they’re better than ever! The interior was tastefully redecorated. They brought in a new chef and the food selection and quality was amazing. And, as usual, their staff is first class. We’ll be back soon. For any reason we can think of!

We always enjoy dinning at Zinfandel Grill. Service is consistently good as is the food. We do miss the Mushroom salad that used to be a regular on their menu. Nonetheless, its a great place to dine.

Food was good and service was okay. Celebrating birthdays but wasn’t acknowledged after I mentioned a couple of times. When picking a spot to celebrate you expect at least a happy birthday. Disappointing. I used to love this place.

Zinfandel Grille has always been a favorite for myself and friends. We usually ate there once a week. It started to lose its way. There was only one item on the dinner menu that any of us liked. We eventually stopped going. Received the recent email from them about new menu and chef. It looked promising. Last night’s dinner was really nice. We all tried one of the new menu items which was good. We are excited and hoping Zinfandel Grille is back!

Went here for dinner with a friend. We ordered drinks: lavender and lemon drink (do not recall name) and a grapefruit drink which were good. For food: my friend order the Twin Peaks prosciutto and pear pizza and I ordered the Herb Capellini. My friend said the pizza was not good and tasted funny. The pizza was crisp on the outside but was pretty raw on the inside. My friend ate 1 slice and did not finish it. Would not recommend it. The capellini I had was OK. It was a light meal but pretty bland overall. Also, the restaurant was pretty hot and it felt like there was no air conditioning when we went (yesterday). Best part was the waittress and drinks. Pretty subpar restaurant and would probably not go back again

It took an hour for our food to be served and even then they got the order wrong. If they had done anything right, the food would still have been mediocre. Not recommended for any reason.

We would recommend Zinfandel-- We wished the menu was more varied and more specials to consider--Knowing the financial state of affairs everywhere and the small business owners challenges we expected prices to rise-- We did not expect them to rise as much as we just experienced-That may curtail us from dining at Zinfandel more frequently--

I have not been here in a while. I had heard they had a new executive chef, so I was curious to see what had changed. The minty goose cocktail was very refreshing just the right amount of tartness. Bruschetta was great and the portion was large. The bread was both crunchy and soft . The sea salt helped to balance the sweetness of the tomatoes and eggplant. Sea bass was cooked perfectly. It flaked apart with a fork. I wish they had roasted the corn but that is the only change I would have liked. The waitress was kind and attentive.

Our appetizer was very good. Both main courses were served warm at best. The Pizza looked like it sat on the counter for 15 to 20 minutes before it came to our table. Steak dinner was good but was just warm.

The new menu is varied and tasty but I do miss the mushroom salad and the pork chops. I liked the flavor of the kale salad but it was way too much kale, even for me. The calamari was likely the best we have ever eaten, even comparing to "frito misto" in Italy. Very tasty and tender. Fried but not greasy. The arancini were a hit with my husband who loves, loves, loves arancini. Husband had a spicy pizza which was excellent. I had the arugula, pear, mozzarella, ham pizza which was too sweet for my taste but was flavorful.

We will very likely never return to what used to be a go to spot. Three times in a row, one dinner and two very expensive lunches, had a bad experience. I guess they have a new chef that arrived a few days after our last try and clearly that was overdue. Over priced for the quality, however, when they charge $8.00 for a few slices of very ordinary bread with two dipping sauces for two diners, that was the end. Some of the previous reviews complained abut $4.00 bread....guess management ignored those reviews. The mustard chicken is a dependable order and actually a good value. The service was OK, however, the place was barely 25% occupied on a Saturday evening. That should have been a signal as well. So very sad..........
