The rumours are true! We’re super excited to announce that the team at award-winning restaurant, Twenty-seven, have just taken on the lease for Oceans 🌊 Restaurant on Bolberry Down, and it will therefore be under new management from this Monday 14th April.We’ll be running a limited menu on Monday and Tuesday from 10am-5pm, for walk-ins, and then aim to be fully open from Wednesday 16th April until Bank Holiday Monday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.Breakfast 9-11Lunch 12-3 Dinner 6-9Whether you’re walking your dog or walking with friends, looking for a new breakfast/brunch/lunch or dinner venue with the exciting food that Jamie Burnard and his team are famous for, you’re going to be delighted with what they are going to be doing here - especially enjoying the wonderful light and space surrounding the restaurant.     The breakfast was excellent. Service with a smile and a good atmosphere. We had booked a 10.30 table but arrived 30 minutes early. No problem, we were shown to a table, no dramas.

    A fantastic, friendly relaxed restaurant with beautiful views of the sea and Bolberry Down. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful and the food was stunning. My husband had mussels and I had Brixham Sole in a lovely butter sauce. There was a wide choice of desserts and after some time trying to choose between them we had an amazing creme brulee with raspberries and sorbet and a treacle tart with Isle of Wight Blue cheese, walnuts and celery (trust me, it was beautiful!) If you decide to walk, it's about an hour from Hope Cove. We walked across Bolt Head and back as the sun was setting - absolutely stunning. Well worth a visit.
