Fabulous restaurant for that special occasion highly recommend

Excellent. Enjoyable, delicious lunch gliding along the River Avon passing the theatres, Holy Trinity Church & a couple of locks. Originally, we had booked a midweek early June evening, but lack of customers meant we transferred to lunchtime, as alternative evenings weren't possible for us. This was all efficiently handled.

No loud music & a pleasant setting. The fish and chips are not made with cheap batter - a plus! The roast had a good selection of vegetables & I was offered extra gravy. Service was prompt & not intrusive. All in all a great meal.

Had asparagus to start and we both has the sirloin of beef. Both absolutely superb. The asparagus was cooked perfectly and a no brainer as it is bang in season. The sirloin dinner was also very, very good, complimented by a superb gravy. Really was a very good dinner all round. Service was quick enough and the guys very polite and just attentive enough without pestering about "is everything ok" every few miniutes! Thank you from both of us.
