Nick’s on the Lake at Popeye’s On Lake Geneva has been a cherished Lake Geneva gathering place since 1972, when founders Nick and Veronica Anagnos opened what was then Popeye’s on Lake Geneva. More than five decades later, this iconic lakeside restaurant continues to welcome locals and visitors with warm hospitality, scenic views, and classic American comfort food.Set along the shores of Lake Geneva, Nick’s on the Lake offers a relaxed atmosphere ideal for family dinners, casual get-togethers, or romantic lakeside meals. Our menu features American favorites made fresh daily, including house-made soups, crisp salads, hearty sandwiches and burgers, fresh seafood, and the famous Friday Fish Fry—a local tradition.Guests can also enjoy our year-round outdoor rotisserie, where meats are slow-cooked over an open flame. More than a restaurant, Nick’s on the Lake is part of Lake Geneva’s story—a place where generations gather to enjoy great food, friendly service, and unforgettable views.
