Just a little bit about the history of our wonderful hotel!There have been various owners of the Railway Hotel over the years, including: Cowan, Gabriel, Molloy, Cronin, Place, Toomey, Berardi and McCall. In 1979, the Hotel was bought by Western Suburbs Football Club, who used it as their home-base. In 1998, the Club sold the Hotel to Phil and Bill Flemmingham and then moved their headquarters to Walkerston.In 1975 during a wild storm that swept through Marian, the upper story of the Hotel was destroyed, and it was then reconstructed as only a single story air-conditioned brick building, with motel style accommodation.
