Our story so far... After much research throughout the States, Smokin Bones had its first outing in Herbert Park in 2014. Barbecue has grown to be a way of life for the Smokin Bones team and is much more than smoky meats and juicy flavours. Tucked just off Temple Bar, achara is an restaurant inspired by the food and culture of Thailand centred around our custom made Santa Maria charcoal grill. Chef/owner Graeme Reynolds takes influence for his dishes from lengthy travels around thailand, especially in the northern city of Chiang Mai. We strive on using local produce where we can working with small organic farmers like Abercorn in Co. Wicklow and McNally's in north Co. Dublin. Likewise all our meat and fish is from trusted small butchers and fishmongers like McLoughlins butchers and Glenmar seafood who we have worked with for years.We have an extensive wine list of low intervention and natural european wines on offer.Since opening achara was named irish times restaurant of the year 2024 and has been nominated for a variety of awards from best casual dining to best new restaurant at the irish food and wine and Irish Restaurant awards

Totalmente recomendable. Es un sitio agradable y son muy atentas en el servicio, nos ayudaron en todo momento. La comida es asiática tipo wok pero a la plancha, está muy buena y te haces todo a tu gusto con los ingredientes a tu gusto. Íbamos 4 amigos comilones y cogimos el “all you can eat “ y salimos muy satisfechos.
