Proper BBQ. No apologies.The Arrogant BBQ started with two mates, Dom and Jim, and one bold claim: their BBQ was the best in Norfolk =. They’re still making that claim, and the queue for their famous meat tray platters!Our pit runs low and slow for hours. Brisket gets a thick peppery bark and stays juicy enough to pull apart with a fork. Ribs come off the bone clean. Burnt ends are sticky, smoky and gone in minutes. Nothing here is a gimmick and nothing is rushed. It’s proper Texas-style BBQ, smoked properly and piled high.We buy our ingredients locally, keep our sauces secret and don’t do small portions. Come hungry, bring your mates, and order more than you think you need. Everyone does.Our new home is 101 Magdalen Street, which has a bigger smoker, a fresh look and the same attitude. It suits a lazy weekend feed, a birthday blowout. The smoker’s lit. Book your table now, because the brisket always sells out.

    Very good polite, professional service. Food and drinks arrived very quickly. Food very tasty and a little bit different . Would definately visit again for an evening meal .

    We as a family of 4 when over half term, thought we would make the most of kids eat free, the staff on arrival where welcoming and friendly, food options were great even for the kids menu, food was great, tasty and portion size was very good, over all the food staff and setting was first class, would definitely recommend
